Houston should trade Whitmore for KD.
I will only cherish the wins and ignore everything else, because that's the only way to survive as a Knicks fan.

Maybe Phoenix would be interested in Anunoby as part of a 3 team trade with Houston for Durant.

Anunoby fills a need and fits their roster, and they are trying to win now with Booker. We can get a combination of young players and picks to build out our roster. Ideally, we come away with a starting caliber C, and starting caliber wing and a high level bench scorer. Maybe this concept starts with a Walker Kessler/Collin Sexton trade

I don’t think Knicks are interested in KD. I think they’re interested in helping facilitate the trade with Minnesota to bring back Donte to NY while KD goes to Minnesota. I think Giannis would be their preferred target

Durant will join when his contract is up and the Knicks have won a championship.

Hmmmm interesting, I don’t know how it can be done, KD makes 51 mil,
It’s going to have to be multiple teams involved to facilitate this trade, probably a 4th team to absorb the salary

Randle is in a contract year, but he might want to opt in after an underwhelming year. If something like Gobert+Randle for Durant+Allen is the play, then Donte and Richards for Deuce and Mitch might make sense.

Deuce, Ant, McDaniels, Durant, Mitch/Reid
Beal, Booker, Dunn, Randle, Gobert

We get Richards and DiVincenzo, Phoenix gets a very good center to go with Beal and Booker, Minnesota gets Ant his idol to play with and is in the fast-lane for a rebuild after Durant’s contract is up in ‘26 instead of carrying Gobert through ‘28.

These MFs in here trading EVERYONE we got in the last year or two for over the hill oft injured stars. Zeke left his DNA all over some of y'all!! No pause!!

We need to solidify the bench. We newe the HC to utilize any and ALL players we have on the bench within reason. You don't go from not playing your bench when you need them to playing the entire bench all at once. This is way beyond old at this point. Figure it out dumb ass! You need to play more than 8 players from OCT-APR!!

We have JB/KAT as the Batman/Robin and we have two starring wings that can go off as well. We have the glue guy all good teams need. We just don't have quite enough off the bench. We don't have a HC who knows how to use his bench apparently.

These star trades are ridiculous. Giannis would be 42 by the time we could possibly get him. KD is already 45. We would need to kill all oir depth to get either player.

Knicks going to package Mitch and Josh Hart, most of the kids, plus picks, and involve a 3rd team for cap space, to land KD.

Is this also acting as the draft thread? I know we don't need another scorer but I just really like the smoothness of Clayton Jr's game. He doesn't have great NBA athleticism, but he uses off ball movement & his handle really well to get his shot off. Some mocks have him in the teens and we have #17 as of now (I think from MIL). Clearly we're going to prioritize a big man but I would def be interested in bringing him in.

If they do go with a big man, I liked what I saw from JT Toppin, who's slotted for late lottery right now. Very interesting player who kind of stood out to me.

Went to Brooklyn in the Bridges trade

We have the better of Memphis and Boston's 2nd rounders, and that's it

And the protections on Washington's 1st expire next year, so if they suck again, we get 2nds instead of a 1st.

Mitchell Robinson and Deuce McBride are 2nd round picks. Josh Hart was the 30th pick. You can find good players late in the draft. Going forward we need to draft exceptionally well in the 2nd round because we won’t have many first round picks.

Currently we’ll have the 51st pick from Memphis.
