Yeah I can’t see them passing on hunter. To much hype around him. It’s almost like the GM was trying to sell him to the fanbase in the clip I posted.

It’s Carter or SS and I see them going SS. Giants don’t seem to be shying away from him even hovering around Deon after he finished.

its splitting hairs. I won't question anyone that has one or the other. Believe they are going to be on the same tier. You just have to have more of a plan for Hunter and how you are going to use him.

Also offense always peaks in pro day / draft lead up because there is not much you can do on defense.

Yeah I dropped on him somewhat. I thought he was Parsons Lite at first, but once the season ended I realized he was a one trick pony. It Shows that he has limited reps at DE. Still think he nice don’t get it twisted, but TH to me is the better prospect than him.

If I didn’t want us to have a young QB I would not mind as much even with his limited reps at DE.

But for me it’s SS. I would only come off the SS train for TH . I honestly also like Graham a lot even tho we prob not looking at him.

I respect it. I know we need a young QB as well. Carter is my #1 guy that I thought was going #1 to Titans before they fell in love with Ward. So I think its crazy he would be there for us at #3. We probably would have the scariest pass rush in the NFL.

Go more development QB route later in draft and then re-evaluate next year (whether that is Schoen+Daboll) or a new regime.

But I could get behind SS as well. If they are on SS...and they know Pats/Jags are desperate non-qb teams for the last blue chip prospect maybe they can play them against each other to move down and collect another day 2 pick or something like that and still get SS.

I'm not out on SS, but I'm definitely out for him at 3.

The gap between him and later round QBs isn't that wide to justify taking him that early.

Todd McShay saying he was underwhelmed by SS's throws on pro day and how he really wasn't better than Dart, let alone Ward.

McShay also picked up on what I said last week about Prime seeming a little more desperate than he was a few weeks ago

Sounds like Deion is hearing Shedur might fall out of the top 10 and is begging every team in that range to take him.

Or maybe.. just maybe he’s not that drama queen that was going to create chaos and dictate where his son plays like people kept saying about him to avoid drafting Shedeur

Time will tell. It's just interesting that he would only flirt with the team that had the #1 pick in the past and now SS is fine with the entire top 10.

The process could have given him a reality check but there is still so much more to go through before the draft.

Hunter or Carter at #3, and try to get Dart, Milroe or even Sanders if he falls later in the draft seems like the way to go for the Giants.

Personally have Hunter as the guy for the Giants, but sounds like Browns may take him.

I'm kinda worried about Carter. I don't like that one trick pony label, it's bad enough KT has zero moves and gets stood up regularly

I think a lot depends on what they do with #3. If it ends up being Carter (which probably is the betting favorite right now) I don't think they can come away without some kind of developmental QB.

I think Dart goes earlier in the 1st round (always teams looking for QBs so I don't think he falls into our range) unless we have a trade up for him.

I still am interested in Milroe. At minimum in sub packages he has the most elite trait in terms of being a runner. If Daboll is suppose to be able to develop a raw QB he would be my target. I know he is raw but he basically would be sitting all year behind two vets and then you basically can sub him in on red-zone or short yardage to run RPO type plays and basically have sub packages at QB for him while he develops the rest of his game.

If not a QB in round 2 then I would look at the lines.

I think guys like Donovan Jackson (OL Ohio State)
Derrick Harmon (DL Oregon)
Tyleik Williams (DL Ohio State)

are being mocked around pick 34. We still need to be able to stop the run (both those DL can be early down interior guys with some pass rush potential) and continue to improve our OL depth so either would be a good pick IMO.

Sometimes a running backs with 1st round grades slip in the early 2nd (hampton, henderson, johnson ect) could also be interesting.

I wouldn't say so. Fumbling issues. Also durability. I'm a believer in RB by committee. Still like Tracy a lot but also think plenty of reps to split carries in todays NFL.

I agree unless trading up for a qb to get that 5th year is the play. 34 seems like a great spot to get offensive or interior defensive line help. Lot of good players seem to be mocked around that spot.
