Morey played this better than Masai did last year. He started the tank on time and put his team in a position to keep their pick.

They still shouldn't have been in this situation though. Both guys mismanaged their way to that point.

76ers expectations were to be in the top of the east

Raptors in the play in or out of it which is where we are

Morey mismanaged not Masai

It's an important game - If the Raptors lose today then it leaves the possibility that the Raptors can tie or fall below the nets in addition to securing 7th

I'm talking about last year when the Spurs had our pick. Masai absolutely mismanaged us into that situation.

both mismanaged, no one was better. its a lottery. 76ers can easily lose it. Raps prob did the smart thing to lose it last year though so they can have a fresh year this year. could u imagine if spurs had ours this yeaR? lol

Glad the board had that little freakout two weeks ago.

I, personally loved the hand wringing over Chicago and Miami, teams that "weren't going to win another game all year", and "we were definitely finishing ahead of".

The race with those teams was close with us being a mere 7.5 games back of them.

Chicago threw in the towel when they traded LaVine and Caruso and committed to the tank. Nobody expected Giddey to play like Luka Doncic when he got to Chicago.

Yeah, it had nothing to do with their dog **** schedule I guess.

Almost down 20 and it's just the second quarter. Pop isn't going to let up. If we're going to get the 7th worst record, we're going to need to do it ourselves.

No, we started tanking way too late and we half assed it most times once we started. We could have easily finished 5th. I’ll take 7 but not totally happy with it.

If we started earlier, the other teams would have just started earlier. We can’t out tank these teams as we saw today

The Mavericks game later this week is the only one that can be a realistic loss. No way we lose to the Hornets or Spurs.

Wemby developing blood clots and Fox having season ending surgery was all a Gregg Popovich master class as he was in the midst of having a stroke. He's truly the G.O.A.T.

The Nets just got blown out by the G League Raptors.

No matter what the Raptors did, the opposition was going to do something worse. They watch the standings as much as the fans here. These teams were all playing their best players in games until very recently other than Utah. Utah is the only team that has been blatant about it.

Heck, Washington sat Jordan Poole in the second half of our game because he was torching us.

Sometimes people need to just be realistic and not just bitch and moan go the sake of it lol. We were never supposed to be this bad so kudos to the Raptors for taking advantage of those injuries and trying their hardest to tank. Hopefully we get the ethical luck.

There is no such thing as ethical luck, if we're being realistic. The window was much earlier than these recent games. In fact, many called out the risks for the back end of this schedule at beginning of the season.

What these games are clearly showing us is that other teams have another gear or two they can go into lol and they’re using it whenever we get close. We were never going to be able to keep up. We are where we should be based on rosters and injuries. We weren’t going to be worse than Philly or Brooklyn.

Malauch will be fine.

Yeah he had a bad game and there's questions about his rebounding but those are questions I trust our staff to handle. He's raw and it shows, but that was always the case prior to last night's game so if you weren't concerned about him being a potential project, I don't know what to tell you.
