i would guess, judging from what has happened for quite some time, newly crowned owners like to be more hands on with their new toy until they get fed up with constant failures and then just let competent people run the show eventually
Then eventually, the Lore-ARod dynamic could trade Edwards in the offseason, or they're smarter than Ishbia and look to upgrade from Randle.

I just wanna say im excited to see this team at full strength going forward. Brunson being out gave some of these guys stronger identities and if they can keep that up we will be a tough out for anybody in a 7 game series.

Welcome back Mr. Clutch! Just in time to get ready for that title run!
Cannot believe a team with Booker and KD coached by Bud is this bad. Should serve as a warning to anyone who wants to trade for that cupcake. Cause I'm sure he has a lot to do with why it hasn't worked out.
For me the offense and defense both look better without Brunson. He’s a great scorer, but as we see with him gone, we have other great scorers also who are picking up the slack. For this team to be at its full potential, we need Brunson to play a more play making role. He could easily average 10-12 assists with the team that is around him.
