Brunson is great in the clutch, but we don't need 40 points from him, just harmonious playmaking

I'm fine with JB taking the last shot though. He's made for that

OG emerging as a legit scoring option was not something I saw coming. Game changing late season development for this team.

Gotta give credit to OG

Most cats work to be great so they can get the bag, and once they get it they settle/ have "job's finished" mentality and stop improving

OG got the bag and then worked to become great, he's honoring his contract

Phenomenal !!

Brunson will need a few games to shake the rust off.

But man, I feel so confident when we need a clutch bucket from him.

Great to get 50 again.

Lost in the sauce of OG's game was an excellent game from Bridges.

Good to see signs of life from Mitch in H2 after a poor early showing.

I mean, Durant would obviously help on offense but he gives so much back now. No resistance to Giannis but a guy like that has to push his way over.

Idk I saw KD take down the Cavs by himself and he’s still playing at a super high level. His game is aging really good. I would take the chance. I think Brunson, OG and KD could be a special trio, even if it’s for a year or two. That’s prob your best chance to beat Boston imo.

he really had a great year scoring. but it is such a small window. i understand the hesitation. i have it too to be honest.

but if brunson was off and i had to rely on either kd or kat to carry us in a crucial moment in the playoffs, it would be hard for me to believe that kat would be the more reliable option.

We should rest guys ourselves if we’re playing for nothing, and hopefully we are

Trading for a player KD's age with his tendency to miss games scares me, but you also could be right. . . . I don't know what I'd do if I was GM.

If the Rockets lose tonight, we tie them in the loss column for the 4th best record in the NBA

I don't see OKC making the Finals

If the Knicks make the Finals, they might have home court advantage

So every game still matters because the Knicks legitimately could make it to the Finals

Indy's been playing well lately. After a 10-15 start, they're 36-16. Maybe they lose to Denver tonight, currently down 5, but playing in Denver and Denver's pretty good.

- - looks like Knicks vs Celtics and Pacers vs Cavs. Unless there are some first round surprises.

OK, back to the regularly scheduled post-game thread.
