he really had a great year scoring. but it is such a small window. i understand the hesitation. i have it too to be honest.

but if brunson was off and i had to rely on either kd or kat to carry us in a crucial moment in the playoffs, it would be hard for me to believe that kat would be the more reliable option.

Towns swept him last year

durant outscored him

wrong thread though

OG has been incredible. Are we witnessing a legit breakout or just a hot streak?

we should be resting guys as well once we clinch #3 which could be tonight if Indy losses.

I don't see OKC making the Finals

If the Knicks make the Finals, they might have home court advantage

So every game still matters because the Knicks legitimately could make it to the Finals

That's some impressive thinking. I hadn't even considered that.

Put it in the books! 50 wins with 4 more to go. It has been 30 years since we had back to back 50 win seasons. We probably only have two 50 win seasons in the 25 years leading up to these two. We were down bad for a long time.

Calinks wrote:50 win season with a fairly anemic bench and a slew of roster additions and some people act like this season is a disaster. Got to get some perspective, you probably aren't winning the chip this year but you got a great foundation to build from for years to come. All the key pieces are young and just into their prime, not a bunch of 34 old vets trying to scrap together one last run.

Thank you for your perspective and kind post. This is the first time our franchise has had back to back 50 WIN Seasons in THIRTY Years and all these knuckleheads obsess about is FIRING the Head Coach!!!

This og run is setting me up for some real heartbreak in the playoffs cause it doesn't take much for me to abandon rationality like a deadbeat dad when the knicks are in the playoffs.

It's a breakout

He may not do it every night in the future, but now he knows he can impose himself on almost anyone so it is not likely to stop

The only thing to watch for is fatigue, because before this breakout OG would collapse at the knees several times a game and that stopped when his breakout started. I believe he needs a fresh battery to motor that big body like we've been seeing. If he gets burnt out his offensive game sags. When his energy is too low he doesn't have this drive and pop to his step.

so it's ok in there ? what's with all these rules ? we don't need no stinking rules. we can police this place the way we've always done by bullying and shaming our fellow contributors into compliance. the way god intended.

Enjoy this run.

This off season, we should still upgrade the coach, and consider swapping KAT and Hart out for Giannis. Probably have to sweeten the pot further with picks and/or Deuce.

I don’t think you can win it all with KAT and Thibs.
