The team is balling right now, from the kids to the vets. Except for pitching is a little shaky but we seem to improve on our hitting and contact

Bottom half of the lineup just did some work to pull three runs out of their asses to tie the game in the top of the 9th!

Ugh, tough loss. How do you not score in the 10th and 11th?

How is Devin Williams an elite and unhittable pitcher? Dude has the most mediocre stuff I’ve ever seen from an elite closer.

Have the Yankees ever finished with a winning record in extra innings since the Manfred runner was introduced? I feel like this is going to continue being the pattern if we struggle to drive in runners with less than 2 outs.

Yep...I remember someone calling Max Fried "AJ Burnett." This guy is the real AJ Burnett.

By the way, I read this insane stat where apparently Grisham surpassed all of Verdugo's 2024 WAR yesterday.

dang I seem to have jinxed us. We seem to have the same problems as last year, demolish bad pitching and then can't get any type of contact against good pitching. And our pitching got worse sighhh might be a long season

Not because of Devin Williams though...he's on the "I'm a bust, go to the Mets" trajectory right now, and he's gotta change that

Max Fried was killing it though. Too much whining about him in the first game when he got victimized by 5 errors or something.
