Denver is now 1/2 game above the play-ins. It is within imagination that this Nuggets selection could land in the lottery. It's top-5 protected, but it could land in the 12-14 range if this disaster (for Denver) occurs.

They play Kings, Grizzlies and in last game Rockets in for Rockets meaningless game ( All Rockets games are meaningless going forward)

Lakers have: @ OKC, @Mavs, vs Rockets & @ Blazers
Clippers have: vs Spurs, vs Rockets, @Kings & @Warriors
Warriors have: @Suns, vs Spurs, @ Blazers, vs Clippers
Wovles have: @Bucks, @Grizzlies, vs Nets, vs Jazz
Grizzlies have: @ Hornets, vs Minessota, @Nuggets , Dallas

Magical playoff number is 49.

Clippers for example, can only be seeded over Nuggets by winning out and by Nuggets losing out.

I seriously doubt Denver finishes out the regular season on an 8 game losing streak.

No kidding.

It's like the people who swore up and down that Miami was a threat to catch up and a lock to win 40+ and then they immediately lost to Memphis and Milwaukee.

Fixed.

Look, the Magic will need a backup wing next year and we can reasonably assume that da Silva will be on the roster and will contribute. But he is a 3rd-stringer talent in the NBA currently and is certainly not "core" to this roster.

He is the backup wing. He just need consistent playing time.

Last playoff spot goes through winner of Dallas v Kings so all good teams will end up in playoffs

Denver is not missing the playoffs IMO. The pick looked like it was going to be 27 for a while and now could be 21-25, so take that win.

I know of people who don't think the draft is as deep as I do, some have it as having ~20-25 1st round caliber players, so that could make a difference for trade or using the pick. Probably not a huge deal, but I would still rather have 23 (current) than 27.

It is unreal Gary is playing over him now. Tristan will be Franz back up for a long long time.

If they end up tied with a few teams, they'll do a drawing to decide the order. I don't think Denver will be in the play-in, but I hope they fall a couple of more slots.

Yeah to me its strictly because hes a rookie and makes rookie mistakes. Unfortunately the coaches/injuries have put us in a position where these mistakes need to be limited as much as possible for us to win games. Even against bad teams. I am not worried about Tristan. He showed a lot of promise when he started as was allowed to just play ball. I expect 15-18 mpg next year behind Franz. If we consolidate and he's part of the package I wont cry though.

LEt's just say that despite his age/maturity, as a rookie, TDS doesn't have the body to play in the NBA yet.

He is too slow for the winfs yet to weak for the PFs

I think the problem is more that our team is like a hockey line change in a lot of ways. Some players are better with Paolo and some are better with Franz. When it was a Franz-centric system, Goga and TDS were better fits, and when it is a Paolo-centric or a Paolo /w Franz centric system, Houstan and WCJ are better, even though I think Goga and TDS are better in a vacuum in most respects.

TDS is a good fit with anyome because he can shoot the 3 and thus open up the floor for Paolo/Franz.

Its just that on D we all saw guys jist bully him down low lilke backing him up all the way. If not that then they just blow by him and you cant expect Paolo/Franz to stop the penetration.

Phoenix wants a massive haul for KD but they might have to settle for less. It will be really interesting if KD is on the market. I have always been the one to want him on this Magic team. But hey? We have to wait and see how we do in this Play in and playoff to decide our plan for the summer. Lots of things could happen. Fingers crossed....

Don’t sleep on Curry and LeBron. They are quite good too.

Jokić or bust. That said, he might not fit Banchero that well so probably better not :D
