Sam is more of a catch and shoot, or a one dribble then shoot guy. Plus PP can attack the rim, and even shoot inside. If only Sam can be consistent. Pritch might be more reliable, and we can argue about who is the better player. IMO Hauser is tougher to replace.
It's not about how good he is, it's about how well he fits, and how efficiently he contributes relative to usage. Despite playing the position that is supposed to be our biggest strength, his on/off court numbers were best on team last season (and better than both Jays in the postseason). His on/off numbers have been both positive, and notably better than Jaylen's for three seasons straight now, since entering our rotation.
