It will be good to see DDV. After only missing 1 game last year he's missed 20 this year but has been solid off the bench.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm fine sitting Giannis, especially with Portis back. We also have a B2B Thursday/Friday with New Orleans and Detroit. He likely sits New Orleans. But he needs to play as little as possible this week.

Why would you now sit Giannis? We beat NO/Minn and a Det lose to NYK we are the 5 seed.

If we beat Minn we treat the NO game as cardio for the starters. We need the win to secure the 5 seed in the event Det loses to NYK(Games are at the same time).

If we lose to Minn the NO game is meaningless and bench everyone.

Would be hilarious if we rested Portis in his first game he is eligible to return.

I get the idea of giving all of the key rotation players some time off as the regular season comes to a close, but I think that needs to be managed. The play-in tournament pushes first round games back until the weekend after the April 13 finale. The Bucks first round playoff series will not start until April 19 or 20. That's 6 or 7 days of rust. I mean rest.

I'd rather have rust than Giannis going MIA again in the playoffs.

You need a quality W to boost confidence before the playoffs. That’s the game to play hard since it also gives you super high odds to get that 5th seed.

You have then the Pels game to sit Giannis. If the Knicks win in Detroit you have then a couple of games with the Pistons to sit anyone.

Really don't care whether it's 5th or 6th... We need to be healthy as possible going in

Peeks at Dame, "Yeah. About that...".

In my opinion, if Giannis is healthy, play him in this game and the final game of the season against the Pistons,
I feel like total rest tll the playoffs could have an opposite than desired effect.

Fully agreed. I’d rather shut Giannis down until the playoffs and get the 6 seed than risk another injury before the playoffs start.

I think it's a pretty clear thought process the next few games.

Tonight Giannis plays his normal 30 to 35 minutes and attempt to win. Huge help to have Bobby back.

Lose tonight-Bench everyone until Friday.

If you win vs the Wolves on Thursday it helps that NYK/Det tips an hour before the Bucks. Start Giannis play him 25 to 30 minutes and keep an eye on the score. By half time of the Bucks game/start of Q3 we'll know if it's worth playing the starters in the second half.

NYK wins and we beat NO/Minn shut it all down and don't care about the 4 seed.

I think you play Giannis tonight get him his 65, for sure sit him against NO (which is winnable without him anyway) and then decide at that point. The 5 seed could be locked in by Thursday night depending on how things shake out.

i dont think you rest everyone vs. NO. Just Giannis and maybe Brook. The rest of the guys should have plenty of energy to take on a Detroit team is also on a back to back. You just dont want to risk losing a very winnable game like that. If we drop to Min and NO and Detroit beats NY, i think we would have to then beat Detroit twice. To me, it's infinitely more easy to simply take the win vs. NO and then put all the eggs in the final game of the season at home with everyone full go.

Play Giannis tonight and then give him a good week of rest. I don't give a **** about seeding unless they really think Dame's gonna be back for Round 1. We're gonna be underdogs against whoever we face anyways.

Gentleman from Milwaukee would like to introduce some nuance to the situation:

Let's say there is actually some hope Dame can return in the playoffs. Your number one objective then becomes to get the easiest opponent possible in round one and Hope that you have a full squad in round two.

The five seed is by far the easier route especially now that brunson will be ready for the playoffs. New York is like the Pacers, but moreso, as Dan Carlin might say.

Dame won't be back but you're right, IF there's a chance you definitely want the 5.

I have realistic expectations, I just want to win a series.

Dame just posted some stuff of himself in the gym on Instagram but then deleted a bunch of it, other than one of him sitting in the gym. Probably shouldn’t read into it too much though he’s always posting a lot of random crap
