Yeah but then they fire the coach and the main front office guy the gm? Like they didn’t pick a side so they fire both guys right before the playoffs? That’s just telling your players that you are giving up this year and looking ahead. IMO obviously

Living in the past, we're talking about the Nuggets firing a NBA champion coach with a winning record. Keep up and be in the present.

Oh im living in the present. Thibs is still our coach. Meanwhile you're living in the future praying we fire him every day

Westbrook ruined the lakers that year. And they made melo the scapegoat and forced him to retire when he was still solid. It's crazy that teams are still taking chances on Westbrook.

That’s true maybe it got crazy and was affecting everyone. It’s a bad look league wide no matter what but you might be right if they had to cut the head of a snake before more damage was done, that’s all conjecture obviously

Brunson would have been 1st team if he had stayed healthy. But I think now it's b/w Mitchell & Curry

Curry 24 games since Butler started playing for GSW (20-4 record)

27.5 PPG 4.0 RPG 6.0 APG 1.3 SPG
46.9% on 18.3 FGA
41.0% on 11.8 3PA
91.6% on 6.0 FTA

I guess but Malone was proven.

Booth makes a lot of sense as they've worsened the team in his tenure.

Booth was just the fall guy for ownership, all his moves were made because ownership didn't want to pay the cost to keep KCP/Brown on the team, so they had to try and find guys in the back end of the first round to fill holes. He had a big whiff on Nnjai, but Braun was a home run.

Still... don't you give Malone the playoffs?

I can't remember even a coach of a bad team getting fired at this stage of the season let alone a playoff coach.

I've always said if you want to fire Thibs, it should only be for a proven upgrade. I guess I can live with Malone if it ever happens. But we still need to fix the roster no matter who the coach is, that's my stance.

Shocking. It's been in the wind that he and management haven't been on great terms for awhile now. But to fire him before a playoff run? And they're most likely going against LAC. Denver folding before the playoffs even start.

You live in the past, it's why you keep talking about history, and why you have yet to say anything about Mike Malone to me. While I talk about Mike, I am staying on the rails, very interesting.

Nobody in history has ever used "hey, that guy is so futuristic" as a put down, you scored on your own goal. I thank you for the compliment.

Reasonable stance. I personally think Malone would be a lateral move.

I think they're punting on the playoffs, it sounds like they aren't sure Murray is going to be able to play in them, so they're done regardless. I would guess big changes are coming in the summer, Porter is absolutely gone.

They know they're done.

Yea I'm not sure if it's even a upgrade now that I think about it. Thibs outcoached him every time significantly we played the nuggets this year.

Honestly as much as folks say that Thibs rides Brunson Malone did the same **** with jokic. He didn’t have some great scheme it’s always been throw it to jokic in the high post and Murray making clutch shots.

Malone has too much respect for Thibs. Hard to see him taking Thibs job unless Thibs leaves on his own or moves into the front office.

How is Thibs being treated like a national treasure?

He stat pads at the end of the season and juices his starters for regular season wins but gets exposed every playoffs.

Thibs as soon as the reg season is finished:
