Being even more of a joy killer, Denver’s ownership hates Tim Connelly for going to Minnesota. They took less value in a Bones Hyland trade just so Minnesota couldn’t have him, I think that they would restrict their new front office from trading Nikola Jokić to Minnesota.

Did the Kroenkes do that or did Calvin Booth?

It is 100% the Kroenke's who have sour grapes about the situation.

I don’t think TC and the Kroenke family got along. I saw something about this months ago, but TC wanted stuff (including I believe a new practice facility,) and the ownership didn’t want to spend. If TC didn’t leave for us, he might have left for someone else.

I believe he did have a small escalator based on team performance, but what's the harm in that?

It was basically bonuses based on raised valuation of the team.
And I dont think they were small.
Which crossed a line with regards to teams compensating their executives.
