Did the Kroenkes do that or did Calvin Booth?

It is 100% the Kroenke's who have sour grapes about the situation.

Nuggets owner Josh Kroenke said the Timberwolves’ offer that ultimately lured team president Tim Connelly “kind of came in through the side door, as they always seem to do in the NBA.”

That was just the beginning of Kroenke’s dissatisfaction.

Nikola Jokić will NEVER be traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, so long as the Kroenke family has input.

And the Kroenkes are 100% right about the equity BS we threw at Connelly.

But the wrong GM got fired here.
Connelly is the one who deserved to go.
Nuggets just have massive injury problems this year.

I don’t think TC and the Kroenke family got along. I saw something about this months ago, but TC wanted stuff (including I believe a new practice facility,) and the ownership didn’t want to spend. If TC didn’t leave for us, he might have left for someone else.

Except we never gave Connelly any equity. That was debunked almost immediately.

I believe he did have a small escalator based on team performance, but what's the harm in that?

It was basically bonuses based on raised valuation of the team.
And I dont think they were small.
Which crossed a line with regards to teams compensating their executives.
