Terrible ejection.. I love when the players/opposing fans are bantering.

Luka has to do better with his whining/screaming at the refs though. It's non stop and he does it in a way that hurts the refs feelings or something lol

Players shouldn't be tossed for "whining."

I can see excessive cursing, threats, physical contact, getting right in a ref's face repeatedly, etc... Not for "whining" though. There would be 6-8 guys getting tossed every game.

Dort had three flops in this game that were more tech-worthy than that, and he was actually rewarded with an offensive foul on one.

Incorrect. If the NBA actually did something and got the refs to start Tech'ing players like they should, the whining stops. And who knows, we might actually get a better product, from both the refs and the players.

This doesn't work in practice. Refs are people and have different skin thicknesses. And you really think they'd be tossing Draymond every night? What would likely happen is role players being T'd up more for weak ****.

I’ve read that the Lakers’ crew said that a close friend of the ref died during the day.

If it’s true, maybe that’s why he was sensitive, but then he shouldn’t be working.

As good as an idea of just getting rid of the refs and call your own fouls. Would be popcorn worthy anyway.

I’d honestly prefer it if players called their own fouls over what we have today with these corrupt refs. At least we’d have a level playing field and refs could no longer decide who wins

From the Refs POV Luka is screaming an expletive right in his direction... after an entire game of whining/screaming at that ref he isn't getting the benefit of the doubt on that (and the refs will never admit they screwed up and overturn it too)

It's wrong but that's why the build up to the ejection matters. Conduct yourself with class for most of the game and you aren't in that position to be ejected on some petty bs.
