Never thought I’d see Mitch and KAT as similar but I kind of do. Different players of course but both play very hard and it feels like they’re behind the 8 ball so to speak

Really admirable effort but one way players who sort of want to win more than they are able to do at the NBA level

Admirable but likely not starters or major guys on a great team

Just my honest take and have tons of respect for both and really like them

The possession where Karl seemed to not know the clock was winding down, one mistake like that in a blue moon np, but he seems to always be a bit off

Unreal

Yet we still have to deal with trolls who get incensed whenever Thibs is rightfully brought to task for his bush league coaching decisions and non-decisions

A josh hart the worst shooter on the floor step back...how can you not get the ball into anyone else hands there thibs?

The team failed to execute and couldn’t inbound the ball. There’s no way that’s what they drew up

I’m sorry but I also think a good shooter who has some smarts like MB, the way he looks lost a lot, I blame that on the coach too

A top coach could harness MB and KAT more and also direct JB more

It’s a rudderless situation

It was a great game overall until Thibs soiled himself and gave it away to the Celtics

Not going to try and read a whole thread with arguments defending this fcking Orc

I still have his autographed jersey. It's in a frame in my closet though. I had such high hopes for him. :nonono:

I had something autographed of his. I sold it to a mavericks fan like the week after we traded him. I hope they choked on it

a good coach worth his salt would know what to do in certain high pressure do or die situations. You cant let the entire system dictate what the players would do

It's crazy when the entire fan base watching the game is screaming foul him, yet the coach doesn't convey that to his squad. If you watch the replay, you can even see Brunson throw up his hands while back peddling on defense saying something like "should we foul". This is 100% on Thibs. Our guys almost always fall apart in the closing minutes against top tier teams. That's them not being prepared with X and O's going into battle. Inexcusable at this level!

Why can Memphis and Denver do it but we can’t? When we have better rosters than them and are being handicapped by our coach even more than they were?

Why must we continue to suffer?

KG, this is all on the coach. In the beginnning our team looked night and day offensively. Thibs doesnt have the ability or basketball mind to take this group to the next level.

I’m kinda ready to move on from hart or at least reduce his role. And I do like hart but we need another scoring threat on the court. Unfortunately with the roster as constructed I don’t see a valid replacement option. Kinda wish we still had Donte.

When Zinger is hitting those 3's they are nigh unbeatable....yet we still almost did beat them. Is it any coincidence that this was the first time we played them fully healthy?

They are more talented imo, mainly size and the fact they can all shoot 3s really really well while also playing defense..., but also because of that bench.

So where can we improve?

Coaching?
Bench Depth?
Mid level acquisitions and /or trades?

The hard truth is that we may still have to wait for the Celts to get worse. The good news is the Jrue and Horford are pretty old. And Porzingis isnt the most durable....
