This team is more competitive and deeper than I anticipated. Despite all the injuries and tanking basically all season, they are still going to win close to 30 games.
If they are relatively healthy next year, with Ingram taking on a big offensive role, I think they could be in a similar situation as the Pistons as a 5th/6th seed.

I've watched less games this year than any in the last decade. I've hated watching because I find myself routing for them to lose. It is so dirty. Can't wait for next season.

Agree. I can see us winning 45+ games.

Confession: As a former SSH, Ionly watched a SINGLE full game this year, and it's because I was gifted row 1 tickets to the CHI game for Xmas. Other than that, I've only rewatched certain game's highlights.
Season notes:
Barnes - I've never been more down on Barnes, hopefully this year's been a symptom of tankitis and a winning environment next year brings him back up to AS status. I don't think he's a leader though - maybe that changes as he matures (esp as a father) - but his facial expressions and body language don't uplift the team most of the time.
IQ - still don't know what he is or how he fits. Could be trade bait. I like the ideal version of him from what I've seen, but he disappears in games too. If we get VJ, IQ's probably gone, right? I like IQ in theory as a combo guard, but our guards are pretty small overall - we need some plus-size somewhere at the G positions.
RJ - Very good all around game surprised me esp early in the season. But later on it became clear why he was so frustrating to NYK fans too. Putting up borderline AS numbers is nothing to sneeze at, even on a tanking team.
Poeltl - he very clearly lifts our floor, and to a lesser extent, our ceiling. We need a different kind of backup C (either rim runner, or stretch, or both) to play off him situationally though.
Dick - impressed me a lot early in the season, esp with his non-3 scoring ability. Tailed off at the end was expected after the hot start. Hoping next year he can improve and maintain for longer stretches - I still have faith. D is always going to be a problem for Big D.
Walter - still not sure he's a starter, and didn't love him at the draft either. Haven't seen to much of him to give in depth analysis.
Shead - My most impressive player this season, tough nosed, plays D, gets others involved on O, hits 3's well enough. A solid backup PG with a late 2nd is good work.
Ochai - Easily our biggest surprise this season other than Shead. I was pretty down on him when we made the trade, on account of him being moved so many times. But I also knew he was a late lotto pick and if Masai likes a guy in that range, it's typically good news. Glad he broke out.
Boucher - I wanted him moved all season, but you know, I'd kinda be fine with him being a "lifelong" Raptor (we're not counting that 1 GSW game).
Ingram - I can envision how it'll work, but I can also envision how it won't. Would've liked to see him get at least a game or two in this year, but understand why they kept him out.
Battle - I'm happy for Battle that he got his NBA contract, maybe he turns into something real for a competitive team, but I'm tempering expectations.
Everyone else - I simply didn't watch enough to really get a read on them.
