The problem is the whole thing stinks like corruption and collusion. Do star players get traded? Yeah its called a rebuild after you have exhausted all options and have not contended in years. Do star players walk in the offseason? Yeah, but fans anticipate that if an extension isn't put in place the season prior. Its most dumbfounding trade, I have tried explaining it to Football fans that its like the Colts trading 25 year Peyton Manning after losing in the Super Bowl.

Cant let the lakers be bad apparently. Their future was shot to pieces and the mavs (possibly the league) has bailed them out for another decade. I do feel for mavs fans, especially the die hards

We should tank for Peterson..he is much better and will be the clear number one in 2026.

I have a feeling that Lively might have very different career without Luka too. I'm sure Lakers will be interested in him.

Watching that Luka tribute and his emotions really hit me hard.

The crowd chants of Fire Nico and cheering for Luka made me happy. Luka having the game he had on us made me happy. Honestly, I've never been happier for my team to lose. It's such a sad time to be a Mavs fan right now.

AD on 4 with Lively/Gafford on 5 will never work, even with Kyrie 100% back. Trading for AD when you already have Lively/Gafford is as stupid as it gets.

And what about Martin? Grimes is few levels better player, another insane trade. Not only that he's much better, he's much better fit for Mavs, who desperately need someone, with at least average ball handling skills. And he has another 30 mio on his contract, I would say pretty much untradable for how he looks.

Klay useless without Luka or other capable Pg, Kyrie is not that.

Nico assembled truly dysfunctional team, which he will very difficult to fix in offseason.

This feels like a closure game for Luka. Now that it's out of the way, the Luka fans can move on with him to LA like the Lebron fans who moved to Miami after Cleveland.
