We have a better record than the KD suns
Just like Butler helped glue the Warriors together i can see Durant having that same effect with us. Sometimes all it takes is just one dynamic player to bring it all together.
But why hasn't been the glue for his last 2 teams.
33-29 this season is horrible for a top 10 player.
Any neutral analyst would his stints with Nets or Suns failures.
His last truly great year was the Nets runs where they got eliminated by Bucks. Since then his record is spotty. His teams just havent been elite and eventually end up collapsing. And fans here are quick to absolve him of any blame. The suns are awful and he was playing. He gets a lion share of the blame and next up is Booker. When you are all nba guy you gotta do better than 53 % win which what they were with him on the roster,
I am not saying he's a bad player. He's just not MVP top 10 level. That's the level of player Miami needs to drag this team past the 2nd round. Going after KD at his age is just pointless. With this roster, the ceiling is 2nd round and each year he will get worse
