This is just classic NBA rigging. This is no different than a Western Conference team with championship aspirations and the reigning three-time MVP firing their HC and G.M. days before the playoffs. The fact that BOTH of these things happened within weeks of each other and people still deny that the league is rigged is hilarious.
To think Mavs actually believe in a crap they told about Luka is one thing (it's stupid, but nobody really thinks Nico and that married to money dude are smart), but to believe Luka wanted to leave... Dude, you're delusional.

What are you gonna do when Bucks trade Giannis this summer?
LeBron-Luka-Giannis is going to be an all-time great big-3.

Lakers are not and unable to trade for any superstar. Not trading depth and AR plus not enough assets to get any big name.
Possibility: Kessler or Edey might be the biggest trade name and right contract to add for depth.
Not Yo Ham Lakers!

He bought a $15 million house in Dallas two weeks before the trade...in this economy. Man was growing roots.

I'm not a conspiracy theory guy but i kinda have to believe the league did this boost ratings because the alternative is that Nico Harrison is the dumbest person alive. That doesn't really make sense since he made some savvy moves last year and took the team to the finals.

Imagine the joker leaving Denver as FA and teaming up with Luka in the summer of 2027. After another disappointing Mavs season with AD playing in 40-50 games

They will told you it was all part of the decoy, and that Luka took lessons from Hollywood superstars to learn to cry during the tribute Mavs played before the game

Anthony Davis turning 35 since he arrived in Dallas has made fan acceptance of the trade worse than their initial reaction which was vocal disgust. When he plays he is the poor man's Sengun. When he's injured he golfs and smokes cigars which Nico considered unconsciounable for Luka.

Bcs Luka trade is most schocking moment in NBA history, ppl forget that Lakers got very valuable piece in DFS for DLo and 3 2nds. If other teams offered DLo and 3 2nds they would be laughed at. Nuggets sent Jackson and 4 2nds just to get rid of him and DLo has worse contract....fing Lakers man...hard not to hate them.

Nico with the first (closed door, no cameras/mics) interview with journalist and just from the few things leaked already: there is no coming back for this franchise until the clown is gone

Joker and Luka teaming together is a bad idea, both need defensive talents around them to work.
Hi Clutchie, I love you...
