Nasty step back Tatum on OG. Knicks pretty much showed everything they have this season with Thibs style minutes. They have no surprises for the playoffs unlike last year imo when Brunson/and depth had another gear. Unless Bridges and OG step up big time they can’t beat Boston.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Annoyed I can't watch the Lakers/Mavs on television, but the Leafs are on like five channels.

Leafs are more important than any team in the NBA.

But not the 7th pick. We're about equally likely to pick 8th or top 4. That's the coin toss we need to win. You have to be lucky to be good.

I'm confused.

Utah would be alone in last if they lost that game. Don't "serious" tanking teams lose every game? ESPECIALLY for last!

He was playing against a G-League level lineup in the Blazers....Also Jazz was running a G-League level lineup....This was basically a G-League game where Kyle was possibly one of the go to players....This will not be the case often.....But still a good showing just got to be realistic of the circumstances behind it.....Its not "Star" level until he does it in a legit game.

Clingan is already one of the best defenders in the league, while you have a point regarding level of comp by no means was Portland fielding a "g-league" team w/ Toumani and Sharpe and Thybulle. There were two hardcore defenders in that lineup. Actually three if you count MT. It was a strong performance.

I have never been as consistently wrong about a player like I have been about Austin reeves. This guy just keeps improving by leaps and bounds. I probably figured he had hit his ceiling like 4 times by now. At this rate...he's gonna be an mvp candidate in 3 years lol.

Dude just keeps getting better. I'd be interested to learn more about his draft story. I read that the Pistons wanted to grab him with a late second but he turned them down.

I wonder what his perceived weaknesses were.

Has he? The main thing he's been doing is increasing his usage. He's a quality shooter. He has remarkable passing support around him. His shooting inside the arc has declined as his overall volume has gone up, and he isn't stunning from 3 while the same has happened (though it's still solid). He's been all over the place in terms of getting to the line. He's pretty solidly entrenched as a 106 TS+ kind of guy, or thereabouts, apart from that random season he had in Year 2 where he was drawing fouls like prime James Harden. His short mid-range game has declined to a little better than average since his usage went up after year 2, his ability to finish inside is off... and overall, he's basically the same as he was last year.

Reaves is an interesting one. He's got handles, he's pretty quick, he can shoot and he can pass pretty well. He doesn't really look like a centerpiece kind of player, but he plays well around a superstar (or even Old Man Lebron).

I don't know. In my perception he went from "damn they got a decent rotation guy undrafted" to "damn he's actually a decent starter" to "damn he's actually a really good 3rd option on a top team".

Should be said he's an ideal situation. He probably doesn't look this good without playing with lebron and doncic. But since the trade he looks REALLY good in the games I've watched. Reads the game incredibly well.

I don't think you'll see a correlating jump in stats given that adding doncic sucks up so much usage. I'm talking about game impact.
