Based on the discussion above it sounds like Bond off a lot of boards and worse than Burton last year from a character perspective.

Bond is visiting the Packers tomorrow.

I don’t know him personally so I can’t speak about his character and I wish he was just a little bit bigger in stature but dude is an absolute weapon. He’s gonna bring a new dynamic to whatever team drafts him being able to line him up all over the place and do so many different things. It would be real tasty getting him in a Packers uniform. The bubble screens, end arounds, motions, quick hitters and deep shots, dude really does it all. I know the 40 time was a little disappointing but only in retrospect that he set himself up for failure but I like the confidence regardless. He thinks he’s “him” as the kids say nowadays and I like that. Plus I really love the James Bond 007 celebration he does when he scores, I’d like to get used to it lol.

He's the perfect weapon for this offense. A lot of Zay Flowers to his game. I'm hoping the character concern rumors aren't true, but if the off-field issues are as bad or worse as Jermaine Burton's like RS alluded to, that's an easy pass. Guessing they'll dig into that on his 30 visit and see if he's worth the gamble or cross him off the list.

Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst made a point of saying this offseason that it has never been an organizational philosophy to skip receivers in the first round. That said, it's still hard to feel good about projecting a first-round receiver to the Packers until they actually do it. While Gutekunst said he hasn't purposefully avoided taking a receiver on the first day, he did say it's one of the more difficult positions for a rookie to make an immediate impact from, which could be why he has favored other spots in Round 1. -- Rob Demovsky

Not sure I would do that trade with the Giants if they offered it to GB. Missing out on Barron, Harmon, Starks, and Nolen would be rough. But I could talk to myself into Burden, Egbuka, and Ayomanor. Like Amos and Sanders. Tyleik would play right away. At edge I really love Tuimoloau. He's somehow underrated despite being the highest ranking defensive recruit at Ohio State ever and flat out dominated last year at 21 years old.

I'd probably make the trade.

On a side note, the 9ers getting Will Johnson would make me real sad. I know he’s not falling to 23 or we aren’t moving up for him but I just hope he goes anywhere besides Chicago or San Francisco.

Also, Williams would be a disappointing pick at 23 imo. 247 sports just did an article 2 days ago that Mykel Williams, according to ESPN projections, is the most likely to bust of all the edge rushers in this class. I know that’s not bible scripture but it’s telling. He got hurt last year and played for Georgia, 2 of Gutenkists favorite qualities in player evaluation nowadays. If it’s Williams or trade back to 34, I’m trading back without question.

He's not a pass rushing threat at this point, and he never got better at Georgia. I've watched so many games of his over the last three years and not once was I ever like, oh, we have to draft this kid. I'm also not sold on the Packers' ever coaching him up either.

I wouldn't scream if he was the pick, but I definitely wouldn't love it.

I agree. Two of the players I think are being overhyped are Mason Graham and Mykel Williams.

If we took Williams I would be hopeful and not complain but it's kind of like watching Rashan Gary in Michigan. Williams looks like he should be the best player on the field but is often overshadowed by other players around him. Jalon Walker and Starks stand out more to me than Williams. Just like when I am watching Michigan, Grant/Stewart stand out more than Graham. Maybe they are just cog pieces that take on more blockers and I am missing something though.

Taking Williams over Barron, Pearce, Harmon, and even Starks would bother me a little bit but I would be cautiously optimistic still.
