I really liked the season of White Lotus but the finale fell a tiny bit short for me. Hard to put my finger on it but some of the big scenes just weren't as impactful as I wanted them to be.

The Bondsman with Kevin Bacon was fun. Reminded of me of Supernatural but with the edge and humor of David Wong's John Dies at the End (books, not movie adaptation). 1923 finale was epic though nothing you haven't seen before. The long and kinda dragging-in-parts buildup in the second season was worth it. Michelle WIlliams was refreshingly funny in Dying for Sex as a cancer patient dealing both with her diagnosis and newfound sexual awakening. And finished two "travel show documentaries" -- David Blaine's Do Not Attempt and Conan O'Brien Must Go. Both entertaining and fascinating in their own way.

I've never really heard her talk at length before. Caitlin Clark is hella charming and kinda funny in her interview with David Letterman on Netflix.

I read that Walton Goggins first wife died by suicide. And when it happened, he toured around the world and the first place he went to was Thailand. So, he had to face his past while filming. Heartbreaking.

Episode 7 of Wheel of Time was epic even though I have no idea what's going on and what they're fighting for/over lol. Can't wait to not understand more in the finale next week!

Could not figure that show. Felt like it so badly wanted to be the Lord of the Rings but clearly wasn't. Pilot felt campy.

I watch that show and also have no idea what's going on haha. You just get bombarded with all these weird ass names and places and there's too much going on to care about or even remember.

I read the books years ago. I loved most of them. There were 14 I think, so some of them moved slowly. I wish I could watch the show, but I don't have Prime. It sounds like they changed some things, but as long as they didn't mess with Mat's character I'm sure I'd enjoy it.

I've been watching FX's version of The Bridge from 10 or 15 years ago, which I somehow didn't know existed until last week.

I'm into season 2 and I'd give it a solid B+. Starts out with a dead body found on the border, half in the US and half in Mexico, and the 2 lead cops from the countries work together to solve the crime among other things. Stars Diane Kruger and Demian Bichir and I think it's streaming on both Hulu and Prime.

I've never read the books. I like fantasy but I'm not a super mega fantasy person. I like the show well enough or I wouldn't be watching it, but yeah I mean, I'm pretty sure there's an Egwayne, an Elayne, a Moraine, a Malaine, and etc etc etc. I can't even keep all these people straight let alone appreciate all the intricacies of the plot.

Show got better after 1st season for me. I feel the diehard book series fans are the ones really thrilled with it, which is rare for adaptations. I've never read the books and just dove in knowing nothing. I enjoy the action and am impressed with the production but ultimately don't have any connection with the characters or inkling what the hell is going on lol (kinda my fault since I only give it half-attention when I watch).

Trust me they cut out a lot of stuff already but they didn't go far enough. I've always felt that the best way to tell that story on screen is to just focus on the Two Rivers folk that you met at the beginning. If you start branching out then you get a bunch of characters that get 3 minutes of screen time per season and nobody can get invest in any of them. As a fan of the book, I love seeing secondary characters I like pop on screen even for a cameo but that's not the way to do it to maintain the interest of non-book readers. That said I agree the show gets better after the first season.

Pretty much. Though this season had a couple of "sequels" to episodes from prior seasons and the movie.
