I dunno but he wasn’t an all star starter last year and missing those 15 games probably knocked him down a peg in such MVP conversations but I’d like to know where he was before that. He was having a great season though as far as I’m concerned

i don't think he was top 5 before the injury. it's not like he's bad now. don't get it wrong. but if last year was like a 99 out of 100 for him and this year he's more like a 94 that's significant enough to matter.

We don't have a 2nd creator to unburden him like last year- unless we're counting posting kat at the 3 point line.

I could see Brunson do a playoff Butler switch thing. I don't think the other guys have that switch.

Proud of you for taking the journey of weight loss. I know it hard and long road but we're rooting for you.

I just completely spaced it. And I'm glad cause this seems depressing af. Team is playing horrible going into the playoffs and just lost to the potential first round matchup after getting beat by the Cs on their hc. And Brunson stats look rough. This sucks.

At least we can look forward to paying mikal a huge contract in the offseason.

Going full buzz with this post I see

They're the 3rd seed and going to lose in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Miss me with the mid label. Its hyperbol and we dont tolerate that around here.

Bht you know what is mid your kings with lavine are mid. The suns - they're mid. We're nice but not real nice.

Don't need that from everyone though. If we get the OG of the reg season and KAT we will be fine. Everyone is always a bit more juiced up playoff time(especially at home) anyway. Ppl putting to much stock into these last few games. I think the Knicks gonna kick it into gear defensively in a few days.

Precious should honestly just play the first 6 or 8 minutes of each half and then you could play Josh the rest of the half for 14-16 minutes straight

Precious can't play alongside Mitch. Precious cannot only get minutes alongside KAT, or at Center.

Rather just start Mitch next to KAT to start games, the offense might take a bit of a hit but not really, other guys are to talented, the defense though would get off to a good start in games, not sure why we aren't seeing much of the 2 bigs playing together

If Thibs asked Hart to guard Cade all night i'm not sure he would have had better success and it probably would have taken away from his limited offense if he had to. Just having OG alone could have made a big difference against someone like Cade.

Brunson/Mikal/Hart/Precious/KAT with Tucker/Wright/Shamet/Payne off the bench may not have gone well either.

I would not be making any assumptions that we could magically turn it on come playoff time & the first rd opponent will kneel before Zod

It feels like they've been extra careful with Mitch, or he hasn't been in shape to play big minutes

He hasn't been allowed to play both games of a back to back and only twice has he played more than 20 minutes in a game

Mitch and KAT have played 5 minute stretches together, but that's it

Man, for 20 years I wondered what it would be like to be a top team. Well, here we are, we're the 5th best team in the NBA and I can report, it sucks. It's no fun. It's boring and frustrating. I'm totally uninterested in this team, and sadly it's 99% Thibs' doing. Go NY!

The NBA stinks so even if it was great it wouldn’t be so great. A recent championship team just fired everyone.

We are going to the ECF but first we have to dodge the Pistons?

Nobody is scared of the pistons, if you can get a lillardless bucks team and avoid Boston until the ECF why wouldn't you take that route? But we will stay in third knock off Detroit and then Boston soooo, moot point

Your back court would be 6 feet tall. You saw Cade and them post up every Knicks perimeter defender because they are too small.
