Timing seems suspicious like he's did something unethical and not just about the team losing

Great move by the denver mcnuggetz... Finally living up to their name in full swing. Their 15mins of fame (or alleged fame) is over.

really disliked malone and his face. Glad he's out of the limelight now. Let's hope this team just fizzles off into what it was for 30-40 years prior to 2023. Another dark age epoch coming to them which befits their brand, definition, and fans.

The ownership is suspect. They have Walmart family money I believe. Same family owns the Rams, Arsenal and other big sports teams.

They've said in the past that they won't pay a lot of luxury taxes for the Nuggets. That was before Jokic and their title.

They did pay a lot for their core 4 though, Jokic, Murray, MPJ and Gordon.

But obviously won't pay for key role players like KCP and before him Brown

The problem with the Nuggets is Michael Porter. They have everything they need in Murray, joker and Gordon. But the shooting part of the deal is supposed to be porter. The Nuggets shooting has been weak. And porter inconsistent and sometimes, doesn't even show up

MPJ shoots 50/39.3.

But not sure how he fares against the best teams when the team needs him, especially when you consider his impact on defense, which may be negative.

Great basketball mind. Seems it was his way or the highway, though. That’s a problem with some really smart people, they’re so convinced they’re right that they may create a polarized culture without noticing.

Jenkins could be a good assistant to add. :D

Seriously, how much damage to franchises has he done over the years? Might be first time HOF cancer.

I do recall what Phil Jackson once said, he said his voice has a shelf life. Or something to that effect. Meaning, his coaching style wears on people, and eventually the players tune him out and don't listen. I also think this in part played a role with malones coaching. He was grinding. The new York Knicks coach used to have that same reputation. I believe alongside with the Westbrook problem, Malones messaging was getting lost

I dont really believe in this; the dude was playing according to what the coach asked or planned out. It is not like Westbrook had Malone in a stranglehold so that Malone had no choice.

Westbrook is that very special tool in your garage/toolbox. You spent a pretty dollar on it, but you take it out in specific cases. Most coaches don't know how to limit and use Westbrook.

There was a sliver of games during 2023 when Westbrook was playing real well within our team. It was not ham, but the team kind of connected during that time. It was short-lived though. It is the coach's job to see that and maintain it but unfortunately it all went past ham's head.

we would have been a better team with Kuz and KCP... not to mention keeping #22. I hated every minute of him on this team.

Westbrook was a trip. Dude would at times show flashes. Then at or near the end, just go total rogue and totally say fk it, and play rover and do his own thing. Dude would guard another teammates man, double team out of nowhere. Miss assignments. While his man be wide open for a layup. I'm like wth Westbrook, play team ball

I've never seen an NBA player miss more lay ups than Russ did while with the Lakers.
It was a mental thing with him.

Clips better win their game now.

I don't really care who is our opponent, they're all tough outs.

I just don't want to see gsw / curry get another day in the limelight. They've had enough
Their 15mins of fame was extended too many times.
Phoenix quickly had their 15mins and now the nuggetz.

gsw better join them soon. "Perrenialism" is due only to the Lakers.

That was a great game. Play in vs playoff rest is on the line. And the Clips pulled it out. Warriors vs rockets is gonna be a dog fight. The rockets get physical at the point of attack, and the warriors are 3pt specialists. I'm interested to see that match up
