Sarr the 7’1 guy with a 49 ts%? He’s been better lately (though so have most of the top rookies) but not more consistent imo.

Risacher has been the most consistent of the top rookies in 2025, and had consistently been improving as well. He just had a slow start in the first two months of the season.

I'm very high on Sarr, and think he has the highest ceiling of this class, but he'll put up a monster performance one day and a dud the next, not sure how anyone can argue he's been more consistent.

It's a meaningless game at the end of the season, but Flip has several plays here that look like Domantas Sabonis, including his nice passes and strong finishes inside.

I know its late season meaningless games but Drew Timme has been using his time well in the league. I think he belongs as a rotation guy at least

Regardless of today's performance:

Risacher is clearly a ROTY IMHO - none of these high-usage rookies has fancy efficiency and advanced stats - but he's the best player in this class in the latter part of the season.

Since late January: 15-4 on 63 TS% in 26 minutes on 16-17 team (and play-in team overall) - maybe Sarr or Castle will end up as better players, but Risacher is the only player you could've given minutes to even on contender-level team. His shooting is astonishing for a 6'9 20yo kid. And it's not like Castle or Sarr have that much of advantage in terms of pure boxscore production that could've been a decisive argument here, even Castle is 19-5-5 on 54TS% since late February.

KF has had some pretty solid moments the last few months.

If those unsettling shenanigans regarding his girlfriend hadn't come to life at the worst possible time, he definitely goes in the 1st round.

I hate to do this regarding Flip, but these Jazz numbers need to be taken with a grain of salt. This isn't like the Wizards playing Sarr, George, Carrington, and now Johnson developmental minutes from the get-go.

I can't really evaluate what's happening in Utah because their guys are in and out of the lineup (and rarely for injury). It's obviously good that he's getting numbers, but I want to see who's doing what once they try to win or just go full youth movement. If they end up picking 4-5 and not 1-2, it will be interesting to see how real his numbers are with Lauri and Kessler playing full-time.

Although, on the other hand, maybe his play makes them want to move on from Kessler.

Reminder: Luka Garza, as a rookie, on April 10th, put up 20/10/4.

He needs to improve in half-court or tight defensive situations, as I think his scoring are low in these situations. Enhancing his footwork, use of fakes, finding open position for shooter like prime Klay, and back-to-the-basket moves will help him create separation (he could learn from Luka or Shai or someone with good slo-mo or twitching move). He also needs to improve his ballhandling, reduce turnovers, and improve shooting consistency. Getting physically stronger will also help him handle contact and maintain balance. In open-court play, he’s already quite advanced for his age.

That was nice. That's a damn impressive game for even a veteran player, let alone a rookie. Risacher may not win ROY but he has the highest floor of anyone in the lottery
