I was just joking in the moment of the game when Shammet was hitting 3’s and getting calls that I didn’t like anything associated with the stench of the Monty Williams era.

I guess the joke didn’t land.

I'll always wonder if Hayes rough start broke his confidence at this level. He was so far from ready to be in an NBA rotation, let alone start.

Agreed. I probably wouldn’t have been as annoyed with the unwarranted Killian Hayes optimism had he not been forced into a significant role.

He would have definitely benefited from G-league reps for a confidence boost.

Yup, 100% should have started out as a low MPG bench backup for Rose and learned from him and even that would have been us gifting him a role but making him a day 1 starter and then continuing to start him to detriment of the team for four years was just absolutely insane.

Well, the actual playoffs are right around the corner. The Pistons board isn't anywhere near as big as it used to be, but I've been posting with some of you for decades(!) now.

Gonna sit back, relax, and enjoy the games. Win or lose, this season has been amazing, and its been a pleasure having discussions here. Sometimes heated, but still, very few places you can go, and talk Pistons.
