1-11 vs Celtics, Cavs, Thunder, Rockets, and Lakers

Our 1 win came in a huge comeback game vs Houston otherwise we’re easily looking at 0-12.

Poorly coached yes but poorly constructed too. Shamet has shot well lately but we needed a 6'8 forward in the summer instead of him. Delon Wright was solid when we were down 3 point guards but we should have traded Sims for a serviceable forward not a guard.

Someone posted in game thread we need a real PF next year and bring Hart off the bench. We needed that this year.

Also the solution right now with this roster might be KAT and Mitch together. Maybe. But Thibs has barely even tried it, so we're not doing it come playoffs.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

I mean, he's still hurt.

It's been most of the season. He was hell bent last year and was damn near unstoppable regardless of who you put on him. Now he is playing timid to use his arsenal of moves.

knicks have a 2.8 net rating in the 1st (10th), 9.6 in the 2nd (3rd). 6.9 in the 3rd (8th) and NEGATIVE 3.6 in the 4th (23rd)

i don't know if this is updated to include today's game but another dreadful 4th quarter being outscored 30-16. outscored 58-40 in the 2nd half.

He would not have played, buried behind Payton and Burks... would've been playing desperate in the 1-2 rare mins he got on the court, confidence would be extremely fragile in the ensuing years and seasons since, would be a journeyman now playing for the Pelicans

We would've Ntlikinaed the great Garland

This is a bad loss because they were clearly trying to win this game and still came up short.

This team is not mentally ready heading into the playoffs. Thibs is going to get out-coached so badly. Time and time again he gets exposed. I hope they lose in the playoffs because it’s literally he only way Rose will fire him and make changes that are necessary. If they win in the first round and lose in 5 against the Celtics, management will keep this clueless bum as the coach.

you just saw it coming...that dumbazz lineup that started the 4th with hart with the bench and Cam Payne being the #1 option.

To end of game execution...still don't know how to defense a simple ball screen where we give up open 3 after open 3.

and then on offense...its just brunson dribble the ball for 20 seconds and take a difficult shot.

It's likely the ankle, lacks explosion. But in that case having watched the team without him, he should have been ready to change his style, come back and move the ball more, get others involved, reduce the isos

Thibs did what he needed to do. He made Riley more irrelevant to our history.

Imo we either flip the switch in the playoffs or move on.

it doesn't get any better if you expand it to teams over .500

magic winning a little lately to get 1 game over .500 has made the stat look better, but if you exclude them the knicks have a total of 12 wins against teams over .500. same as the spurs and suns.

they have like 37 or 38 wins against teams below .500.

it's on brand for a thibs team.

Hart is CLEARLY the issue and obviously Thibs.

OG Towns Mikal Brunson have to play offense in a phone booth whenever he's on the floor especially all the minutes he plays with Precious or Mitch.

When Duece plays, those few minutes we've seen him the the starters, the team is electric offensively.

Thibs and his over utilization of Hart have been such an issue this year.

Yall tried to blame towns.. tried to blame Mikal... silly ****. Havent even spoke about hart's defense this year.
