Brewers/DBacks Series

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Thu Apr 10, 2025 9:58 pm

Friday - 8:40 - Quintana vs. Rodriguez
Saturday - 7:10 - Patrick vs. Burnes
Sunday - 3:10 - Peralta vs. Gallen
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Excited to see what Quintana has tomorrow.
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

It's nice watching him pitch for us finally. He's been good.

This Capra/Dunn platoon might be worse than the Counsell/Graffanino one lol.

Chourio wastes no time and swings at everything.

Murph would never let it happen but Quintana is within reach of a Maddux.

Yeah they need a proper 3rd baseman. Bum ass platoon hitting like pitchers.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Durbin has been doing pretty well in AAA. Might be getting closer to a callup.

I only nitpick because of his potential for greatness but I do worry about how sustainable his approach is. He's up there hacking at everything. When you eliminate any possibility of being walked it's hard to keep that OBP very high. I do think he could find more of a happy medium as a hitter.
