I’m not sure what this clip proves lol. OG had 32 Jalen’s first game back, then had a poor shooting game against the Celtics and a poor shooting game against Cleveland. Mind you he’s getting the ball on the wing and not making aggressive drives, which seems like a result of not wanting to aggravate his sprained thumb that he had wrapped up by going into traffic and not because it’s a coaching directive.

I can give Tom $hit for a lot of things, but the player X is being held back is a terrible narrative. We saw it last year with Grimes, people were saying he wasn’t allowed to shoot and score in the starting lineup because of Julius and Jalen/coaches offense for it not to be true when we saw Donte take his spot because he played more aggressive on offense.

This makes sense. First lineup is 1 bad defender + 4 good defenders. 2nd lineup is 2 bad defenders +3 good defenders. It’s easier to hide one bad defender. When it becomes 2 bad defenders, it becomes a problem.

And you know this how ? This team has the same amount of wins as last year’s team decimated with injuries. We’ve been relatively healthy this year compared to last year’s team. I get that you’re happy because they traded for your favorite players but this team is not better than last year’s team. This team is soft and gets bullied around. Atleast Randle and Divo had backbones.

How did you find out about Randle hanging a backbone?

lol answering with a question. The ultimate form of deflection. Love or Hate him, Nobody going to try to bully Randle. Let’s see Royce O’Neal and Draymond try to bully Randle. Backbone means standing up for yourself which is something this team clearly lacks.

I’m not deflecting Randle has acted like a spoiled child on the court, which is why I had grown so tired of him in the first place. Lackadaisical and couldn’t take criticism - the egocentric playing style went along with it perfectly. Certainly nothing you would attribute to KAT.

Exactly, personally I think the issue was they traded for KAT. I get the fact they didn’t want to pay Randle, but Randle and DDV fix this team. They could have scrapped together some centers like they did when they had Nerlins Noel on the roster and this team would have had a punchers chance.

Which once again isn’t even a full indictment of KAT, because the talent is there. The issue is Thibs wins by having a roster of scrappy players beat up the other team. It’s why he usually is limited in the playoffs because eventually they run into a team that fights back.

This current team is a high BBIQ, and talented team. He could be having them run some interesting stuff to get guys shot, or get guys open. Instead he is running basic plays and he knows these guys are not built to beat guys up they are skilled players.

Imagine calling Julius Randle a scrappy player wtf man… without Towns and Bridges we’d be looking at the play-in.

Thibs is a great coach but I think he’s plateaued with this team. When he first got hired, I believed he would only be able to take us so far and I think this is the limit.

Like Mark Jackson with Warriors and JB Bickerstaff with the Cavs, sometimes you need to cut ties with the one who set the foundation of you want to level up. We may be at that point with Thibs but I’m sure the FO will give him one more season before they reach that conclusion.

This years team has the worst winning percentage among 50 win teams against .500 or better teams since 2003, last years team has the second worst winning percentage against .500 or better teams since 2003. It's almost like it's the coach has peaked and can't beat good teams. No, it has to be fault of all the different players that have played for him in his 5 years where we have never had a winning record against .500 or better teams.

Hart is CLEARLY the issue and obviously Thibs.

OG Towns Mikal Brunson have to play offense in a phone booth whenever he's on the floor especially all the minutes he plays with Precious or Mitch.

When Duece plays, those few minutes we've seen him the the starters, the team is electric offensively.

Thibs and his over utilization of Hart have been such an issue this year.

Yall tried to blame towns.. tried to blame Mikal... silly ****. Havent even spoke about hart's defense this year.

We have a hart problem but it is an undeniable branch of the thibs problem. Hart isn’t a bad player. He just isn’t a starter who should be playing 40 mins a night but that is what our coach has him do all season long

We need a better and smarter coach who has a mind for the modern game. That’s it.
