Last two B2B 60-win seasons of the Celtics:
• 2007-2009: 28,080 minutes played by top 6 players; 128-36 W-L; 1 title & 1 ECSF loss
• 2023-2025*: 26,341 minutes played by top 6 players; 124-40 W-L; 1 title & TBD

*assuming our top 6 players rest for final game but still win

Celtics likely to end up with the 4th best season in franchise history, based on SRS. Only the 2024, 2008, and 1986 championship seasons were better. The other three seasons below it -- 1962, 1960, 1965 -- also won the title.

This will also be the 3rd best offensive season in franchise history, based on relative offensive rating behind 2024 and 1988.

C's likely ending up as one of only two teams in the top 5 of both offense and defense. OKC, being the other team. That means all of Joe's Celtics teams would be in the top 5 of both offense and defense.

I'm sure Sean Grande and Dick Lipe has everything else relevant covered.

After all the handwringing about the Celtics bench, I believe the Celtics have not just one but two of the best backup bigs in the league, the 6th Man of the Year, and one of the greatest volume bench shooters this game has seen. Not even gonna mention how Baylor Scheierman has started to pick up his game the past several weeks and how Torrey Craig has fit seamlessly with the team on both ends.

With one game remaining, the Celtics bench is the best shooting bench in the league (per true shooting %, the only one with 60%+ TS%) and have the 2nd best net rating behind OKC. Also top 6 in following categories -- rebounding % (2nd), defensive rating (6th), assist:turnover (5th), turnover rate (4th), etc.

Do you mean PP not play at all? Meanwhile I am all in on keeping PP as a 6th man and letting Rico start.. even at PG .

A lineup of Kornet Hauser TC (only starter I want playing) in White and Rico. Throw in PP Queta and Peterson as the first 8.

Agree with all of this. Might need White to not have a duplicate of the game in Orlando. I still want us to be competitive and try to win. Those 8 + whoever else you want to throw in as 9th man would be good enough to beat the Hospital Hornets.

My vertebrae are actually held together with screws, and last night I was stretching my neck and something felt weird for a second. I'm fine but it occurred to me I may literally have a screw loose haha.

I think it's also only fair since white and PP have a chance to increase their all time 3s for the season.

Yeah, that'd be okay with me. I just don't want to see the PP show at Rico's expense. Rico with some starters would be ideal.
