Or

Dame doesn’t play. Giannis and kpj and the rest of the team shines vs Teams smother Giannis the only big weapon and we have no other superstar to negate this situation. Also GA could break down having to carry the load alone.

Not sure what will happen, or what Doc should do.Thoughts?

Dame as bench gunner opposite of Giannis. I'd think Dame would be on a minutes restriction if he made it back?

I think the steals increasing isn't accidental... it seems like our team is watching videos ahead and seeing who dribbles too high and forcing a matchup against him with KPJ or GTJ to gamble... is this some Kawaii trick KPJ brought?

This winning streak has been a lot of fun. I'm guessing that's why Giannis was acting extra goofy at the end with Beasley (he should have just let things be once Beasley brushed past him).

Let the bench guys get those Bonzi Colston minutes next game.

Bobby makes a big difference on the rebounds. More than we thought

Not a fan of all the crap that goes on during a game. Not Beas not Bobby not anyone. Giannis was having fun and it was funny and it was after the game was done. During the game focus on the game.

I’d like to see some inverted DHOs between Giannis and AJ where Giannis passes it to him and then immediately runs and curls around him.

This kinda stems from that possession late yesterday where Detroit tried to trap AJ at mid court and Giannis ran to the ball and used AJ as an impromptu screen which led to a wide open runway where Giannis missed the open tomahawk jam.

My thoughts are that the defender can’t sag off AJ at all, and Giannis’s defender will go under the screen, but will most likely have to go under his teammate as well since you don’t want to step away from AJ. This would either lead to Giannis getting the ball back where his defender is moving which would be great for him, or it affords him more space to get into a deeper post position with AJ one pass away.

Maybe it accomplishes little, but finding more ways to get Giannis the ball where he’s moving towards the hoop and initial contact comes later is to our benefit. If that also includes an empty corner, even better.

I basically made the same post at the same time in the bucks news thread.

I’m glad to see we’re on the same page entering the most important time of the year.

It’s where posting legacies are made. imo

I wonder if Sims could provide similar production and keep a faster pace? It sucked having both Bobby and Sims go out at the same time. I think KPJ Sims Giannis Aj green Ajj could be a wildly athletic line up. Could create a lot of chaos on Defense and spacing on offense.

The funny thing about the smaller lineup is that it seems way better at rebounding than the jumbo lineup. We all know brook doesn’t rebound, but TP is allergic to loose balls and kuzma, despite being historically a good rebounder just gets too lazy too often. AJ does really well given his size and athleticism, kpj is a good too.

TP's ball pursuit is just shocking. He just stands there, like Brook, only he boxes out worse. It's just hard to finish defensive possessions when you have multiple guys in the lineup like that.

And yes, we've gotten diminishing returns on Kuz' rebounding. I attribute that to, like a lot, him coming into the season out of shape. He can dial up energy for bursts, but it's not sustainable. He's posted his worst trb % in 7 yrs. And it should be the highest when he plays next to Brook.

It's not inherently better to be taller across the board cuz someone's got to range to the balls that fall in the gaps.
