The only redeeming quality for Payne is his irrational confidence. He doesn't set up the offense, he's just out there to jack up shots. I think the Knicks would be better off limiting his PT in the playoffs and keeping it to Deuce Shamet Mitch off the bench, with Precious as the 3rd C as needed. Let Hart & Bridge be the floor general when Brunson is off the floor.

I'd give all of Cams minutes to Delon.

Dude we didn’t pick up a game against any of the contenders, it’s a legitimate complaint when you go a big donut fat 0 wins against top teams. I can appreciate your optimism and I myself remain hopeful. You can’t sit back and say well we are better than we were for a long time so it’s good, that’s settling for mediocrity. Stockholm syndrome style ****.

reg season has no barring on the playoffs man, def beat us 3/4, are we in trouble? And we complain for everything, after wins after losses after close wins and losses after we blow someone out, it's a never ending cycle. As a whole Knick fans on the internet are this way, we can win a chip the next 3 years and people will find something to complain about

Are you serious right now? You sound like a punch drunk boxer. Everything you just said could be twisted the other around. This is super clown levels. I haven’t been here long so I’m not sure if I’m supposed entertain this **** clown?

Knicks need a coach that EMPOWERS them like the best coaches in the NBA do (including Bostons coach)

Thibs is that empowering coach - they already have that coach. They need a coach that can coach and not just the rah rah rah type

We did find a little something with Delon but remember Thibs called backup QBs permanent backups. Like most people he probably prefers the NFL.

Obi has become a decent player btw. I see Randle turning it on and don’t care at all — good luck to any team that puts its name on his next contract.

Random thought but we need our horford or Batum. That old vet that can still play and help lead

Trade looks bad but it’s not even close to the worst trade this year or even close to the worst trade the Knicks have made
Mavs
C: Horford | Goga | Paul Reed |
PF: Lauri Markkanen | Randle | Tucker
SF: Trey Murphy | Trent | Anderson | Simone
SG: Vassell | Trent | Livingston

He's the classic pot calling the kettle black kind of guy. He's been hating on the Knicks since he was first handed a mic.

i dont mind the strays coming into mikal's direction. he deserves it for playing weak

but if he really is that great of a player then he should use this as motivation to get back take names and prove them wrong

Horford would level up this squad a ton

Hartenstein was way more valuable to this team than most realized.

Yeah, it is not that epic. It was an overpay perhaps, but put a competent coach in charge and his value will increase to either us or a trading partner.
