Unless we make some kind of consolidation trade, Gradey's minutes are going down a lot next year.

It's going to be hard to not play Battle.

He got hurt at the worst possible time. If this team is fully healthy, he has RJ, IQ, BI and Scottie all who need the ball, whoever is playing with those guys isn't going to touch the ball much. Fit wise, that makes Ochai and Battle the better fits especially when both are better defenders

I'm interested in how minutes shake out next year.

This year has been abnormal in that the roster's MPG has been skewed due to injuries or us sitting players.

Gradey will basically be most useful when BI/RJ/Scottie are out because he can fill in as a scorer for them. Based on the injury history of our players, it will still be a good thing to have him on the roster. It's possible we might be a bit weird with his minutes distribution where he plays 30 mpg when those guys are out and he gets minimal minutes when those guys are in the lineup.

Salary would be 125% higher than the vet minimum (these years count towards years played, even if they don't).
They can play in 30 games, but they could be converted into a standard contract, which is a decent salary bump.

The bump gets added to salary cap.
