Way to go. I just made a bet that we would win the series

1. Ausar and Holland shoot 200 jumpers a day this summer.
2. Cut Paul Reed. Find his replacement through draft. Dan Wolf
3. See if Tobias, and Duran can pry JJJ from Memphis.
4. Resign Schroder
5. Sign Walker from Minny
Why would you hijack a thread about our first round playoff matchup with this post? This thread is explicitly not about next season.
There are plenty of other threads to go post crap about getting better next season if this year's team actually playing in the playoffs after a 30-game improvement isn't enough to hold your attention.

It's always some clown trying to impress moderators
Lil homi all you had to do was not response. Respect your elders. I've been posting here for a min. Probably longer than some these mods.

Nice, we definitely don’t feel like 3:1 underdogs

I'm not concerned with how long you've been posting here. I know you've been around. I'm an elder too, and certainly not a newbie on here. All YOU had to do was respect the topic of the thread and simply skip over it if you wanted to talk about something else.
Why did I care enough to respond to your initial post? Because we've spent umpteen years in a row looking ahead to next season in April because we had no choice. Now, we've finally made the playoffs with a team worth rooting for off a historic turn-around season. Shouldn't be trying to impose talk about changes for next year in a playoff preview thread.

DETROIT VS EVERYBODY

I can respect that

I don't even think the Pistons will win the series, but the lack of basketball knowledge being displayed both at their board, and the general board, is shocking.

With the moves they made over the summer, I thought they'd be the 2nd best team in the East but still a gap between them and the Celtics. They kind of just barely held onto 3rd place though and they seemingly are lacking the good chemistry you want in a championship roster. They might not have a bunch of guys wanting to make a long playoff run most of their team has already been paid.

They burned all their capital on two guys, OG and Bridges, who are essentially role players. Excellent role players, but not stars. Particularly Bridges - they gave up FIVE first round picks for him.

And Bridges is due a big extension soon.
I’m not sure how the Knicks can keep it together as it’s constructed.

Young teams don't know any better. Pistons did indeed play their ass off, but we'll see.bstein14 wrote:The biggest thing that makes it difficult is that we've been playing with a playoff intensity and physicality for months to get to this point. Other teams that are good often coast a bit during the regular season. How much as NY coasted? What do they look like when they turn it up a notch for playoff intensity. We won a bunch of games this year by outworking slightly more talented teams.

That said I hope the players don’t feel that way.
