It wasn’t too long ago we were the dregs of the league. Are we humble?

Are they going to apply this to Stubhub as well? I don't think they can do that.

This is hilarious.

If the Orlando Magic did that against the Knicks, it wouldn't work because so many Knicks fans are residents of Florida, lol. Knicks would still have home court advantage in Orlando even if games were limited to Florida residents.

I think it’s funny because no one is flying to Michigan. They are completely overthinking that Philly series and ignoring the physical closeness between the cities that makes it a cheap trip.

Knick fans have taken over Atlanta arenas/stadiums in the past. Without googling, I'd guess those are similar distances. The city of Atlanta was cool with it though. They welcomed the money.

Good thing Detroit is so fiscally well off that they don't need tourist revenue.

Yeah but Atlanta is Atlanta….. what are you going to do in Michigan after the game except fly back home.

I think NY wins comfortably. 5 or 6 games, but this is an interesting thread to read. Thoughts on the outcome are all over the map.

Yes, Detroit has some advantages, but I still say NY in 5 or 6.

I honestly hate home games sometimes. Honestly wish Game 1 could have just been at Pistons home and have Game 2 and 3 at home. Pistons are gonna be YOUNG fresh legs for a playoff berth and with very little to lose. May play a little higher than their ceiling in Game 1. Knicks will probably be caught sleeping in the first quarter OR THIRD. Those late game DEFENSE chants with that music gives me extreme anxiety lol. Some scrub is also gonna have a career night. Just come out strong and knock out their confidence. Let their inexperience show.

The pistons got only got Cade who is a legit 30 pt threat every night. The rest of the team are over the hill roleplayers are young guys who are just as inexperienced as Cade. Playoff basketball is way more physical and there is a lot more pressure.

I don’t think the pistons can hang with the Knicks.

I do think cade is better than brunson. I don't think he's better than towns (if we're actually playing through him that is).

So I guess it depends on what our gameplan is going to be. We have a better roster overall so we should win the series but I don't think it's unreasonable to think Cade might outplay JB in his playoff debut.

I see this series unfolding in a comparable way to the 2013 Pacers series, even as the Pistons are less talented than the old Pacers.

Whoever wins game 1 wins the series, with the home team winning every remaining home game.

Knicks have the clear edge in talent but Detroit have the momentum and seem more united. Hopefully Thibs can rally the troops ahead of Saturday and get them mentally ready for a strong playoff run.

It should have been the starting line up as soon as Brunson came back.

Knicks might win a game if Brunson stops undermining Thibsdale's coaching genius
