The cool thing here is Water isn't wet.

So you are saying those who support LeBron over Jordan are delusional ?.

Oh no. I'm just stating a fact: Water isn't wet.

I don't think people who lack an understanding of chemistry are delusional--they simply don't understand chemistry.

Imagine thinking that a liquid like water could get "wet". Couldn't me be.

Most LeBron fans that I have met understand that you need a solid and a liquid to create a "wet" surface.

We're going to have a million stickied threads for the playoff and play-in matchups by the end of the day, so I am doing some spring cleaning and un-sticking other threads to prepare. This thread will of course remain open and active though, so feel free to still post in it.

Could you ever imagine MJ or Kobe looking like that much of a clown on the court?

LBJ is a great player. It's a shame all the team jumping will likely leave a slight tarnish on his legacy when future generations look back.

Hard Truth:
Jordan, Kobe, Duncan, Steph were all fortunate enough to play their whole careers in a top market for a glamour organization that actually was competent enough to build sustainable winners.

Lebron wasn't so lucky from the start...and then fled to Miami around the time Pat Riley hit his crotchety, old man IDGAF stage in life.

If there is such a thing as the Kobe era, it didn't start until the 2005 season when he finally became captain/leader of LA. Calling it the Duncan era for a few years before it officially became the LeBron era is understandable.

Rich Paul and Lebron James love to lie and rewrite history.

Here is Paul claiming that the Heat didn't have a Big 3.

"I always love a big two," Paul told McAfee. "I don’t really love a big three. People talk big three, but the big three thing has never really worked. And you’ll say well what happened in Miami? That wasn’t really a big three. There was three guys that went in the lottery and they did really well individually on their teams so they had big numbers and had big accomplishments, but when you think about it, Bosh was the ultimate professional. He took a backseat and he played a role in which because had such a high IQ and he was such a professional as an individual. His approach to everything is what made that work."

LeBron in 2010:
"We're winning not 5, not 6 not 7 championships and I really believe it"

Lebron and Paul in 2024-2025:
- "not a superteam"
- "minimum players"
- "we still made it to the finals"
- "Bosh didn't make us a big 3"

207-93 voting. Its not close. In all levels of basketball fans (casuals, analytics, statheads, "eye=test" guys, ring counters) MJ is nearly consensus GOAT andd BOAT. Only in ice hockey there is undisputed GOAT like this.
