Dame very well might not be back until who knows when.

But idk if I’d call this Doc being quiet:

"Everything is still progressing positively," Rivers told reporters on Thursday. "Last test was fantastic. So, you know, that's about all I have. Fingers crossed."

Lillard, 34, last played on March 18 and remains out indefinitely, making a return for the playoffs is possible but probably unlikely.

"(The timeline) definitely has changed, medically," Rivers told reporters over the weekend. "Which is good. The location of it is very important as well. And it is, it's lower. But, it still could be six months. We just don't know."

It really happened. We got through the regular season with Giannis intact, and rested for the playoffs.

And a brilliant season from him at that.

I think the best asset the Blazers could send back is Scoot Henderson as a #3 overall pick. Scoot put up some monster games this year. He's still inconsistent, but he showed some impressive games this season.

Dame and Connaughton (Portland reunion tour) for Simons, Scoot, Grant and our 2030 pick swap back.

Heck no. Why even trade if we get nothing back?

I'm not saying the Bucks should trade Dame, but, he's an aging player on a massive contract. Even if a contender sees him as the final piece, the Bucks are going to have to take back massive salary to make a deal.

The Blazers are unique because of their history with Dame. They have expiring contracts, AND for some unexplained reason, they refuse to embrace the tank.

I don't know of there's anything worth discussing, but the general concepts have some merit.

Really dumb they haven't given out the game 1 dates/times yet. The home teams are set.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Either way I can't wait for the playoffs. Nice to have the best player on the court in any Eastern matchup.

From what I saw online it appears they release it Tuesday night. Basically they want to know if they need to put Hou/GSW in prime time compared to Mem/Hou.

That sucks for fans wanting to go to game 1, especially with Sunday being Easter.

I'll put up the lead-up thread in the morning.

Let's assume the play-in games go chalk and its Orlando, Atlanta, Golden State and Memphis as the play-in teams. If that's the case, I'm guessing here's when the matchups will be:

Saturday, in order, will be: Bucks-Pacers, Nuggets-Clippers, Knicks-Pistons and Lakers-Wolves. Sunday, in order, will be: Celtics-Magic, Rockets-Warriors, Cavs-Hawks and Thunder-Grizzlies.

I think you are right on days but each of the conference games would be switched on Sunday. 8 PM start they want GSW there.

I don't know if it'll be the same this year, but last year the ABC games were the last game on Saturday night and the first 2 games on Sunday. And Thunder-Pelicans got the Sunday night slot.

If he pulls that off with this ragtag roster, it should cement his legacy forever.

The issue is, since 2015 and on with the advent of "moneyball" and the 3pt shot, you rarely get those type of playoff runs where a generational player takes a mediocre roster to the Finals (i.e. 2015 LeBron's Cavs). Giannis was on his way to doing it in 2022 but by then Boston had matured (including Tatum) and shot their way to that series W with the three (and to the Finals).

Never say never, though. If we beat Indiana and steal a road game from Cleveland in Round 2.....things could get quite interesting.

It was either Simmons or Russillo taking about how funny Marcus Morris was coming on ESPN with some outrageous takes, they weren't lying.

It's amazing how ESPN continually finds the most mid former athletes to come on their programs and say the most ridiculous things.

....w/ a history of being among the most unlikeable in the game: Morris, Bruce Bowen, etc. It's a corporate media thing in general because TNT employs Draymond Green for God's sake. Being unlikeable is a commodity cuz many will hate watch.
