I’m keeping both and a Suggs lifer. But one area that Suggs comes up short is availability. That’s been a hallmark of KCP.

I like them both too...but that'll be more than a third of the cap for two virtually identical contributors that should both be SGs.

Suggs is a better creator and play maker. He isn’t great at either but levels above KCP.

I’m ok moving KCP but not sure you have to.

Offseason is going to be interesting. You could say Suggs, KCP, and AB overlap. Adding a Sexton to the mix would round things out even if Sexton plays a 6th man role. Monk and Tyus could fit similar roles.

Adding C. White would definitely require KCP to go. I’m ok adding the needed draft capital.

i think i would be happier with a Suggs/Sexton/Black guard rotation than Suggs/KCP/Black

Houston is leading the odd of landing KD in the summer. Can Orlando Magic make a run at him? He could be a perfect piece along side Paolo and Franz. But heck, it is going to be costly and expensive to even entertain the idea. We will see and Jeff Weltman is not kinda guy to make a blockbuster trade like that to go away from Organic rebuild anyway

I agree with your points, but I wouldnt project AB as a starter just yet. Although the arrow already points to the direction of Black being Jalen’s backcourt partner of the future, AB has too much inconsistency still for a playoff team.

For our third guard, I thinkSexton would be enticing, he can cover so much of the offensive deficiencies a Goga and Isaac frontcourt possesses.

Why not go for CP3 instead? Cojo is doing a great difference on the court, what more if CP3 runs the show?

Wont take up minutes from p5 and franz too

What position does KD play?

Paolo for 6MOY? :noway: Of all the BIG moves...this is least likely

We have 2 years of data suggesting a high IQ corpse can feast in our system if they can shoot the 3-ball. Unfortunately by the time our players develop into those high iq corpses our window will have already passed. So I think we have to entertain the idea of another legit NBA PG in the bench somewhere.

Also hilarity speaking. Perhaps CoJo IS the mentor for AB you want.

Scottie Pipper Jr making 2mil a year is a realistic option. He starting level PG on a very friendly contract.

I think for me its pretty simple here. Sign Tyus 2 years 12 million, trade JI + Jett for Cam Johnson.

Tyus AB
Suggs Cole
Franz KCP
Paolo Cam
WCJ Moe

Tristan, Caleb, Goga, TQ, Draft pick

I like the vision but I think Tyus gets more than that and Cam certainly needs multiple frps attached for that pkg…but I like it. And…imo, your deep bench is solid and inexpensive…if they’re not going to move WCJ or give Goga more minutes, I’d move him too…a 3rd string C should be rookie scale or vet min, or something close. There are some interesting bigs in the draft at 16 and into the 2nd round (not game changers, but playable bodies with, maybe, upside to be more)

He’s worth way more, would need to add draft equity or make it bigger and take back some crap. Maybe da Silva, based on their roster needs.

Davion Mitchell, now on MIA, will be a FA…interesting bench PG…sturdy, built like Jameer, exceptional defender & fierce competitor out of Baylor.
I guess he’ll be a RFA, not sure how he got to MIA or how valuable to them he is (seems like a “Heat Culture” type dawg)…

Best nickname for a defender ever…”off night”

Maybe worth a look if we trim the herd a bit

Yeah he has been good this year. I think the Heat will try pretty hard to bring him back though.

Was acquired for just a 2nd too.

He is the exact type of player the Heat love. Doubt he doesn’t resign there.
