nightmare scenario would be winning 1st round handily, taking 2 or 3 games off boston and then the front office deciding that's enough to roll with thibs for the next 3 years. chances of us winning a chip with this bozo are slim

I expect us to win this series though since we're just the better team. if we really do lose thibs needs to be gone the very next morning

CAA is a business. All they care about is money. Their client gets paid so they get paid.

Did Leon get Thibs his big fat retirement check? If so then you can be sure Leon has no problem letting Thibs go this summer.

It's gonna be hard to do that when Josh's man is running around like a free safety on defense

Let's be clear, I don't want the Knicks to fail as part of some anti Thibs agenda.

I think Thibs is a playoff limited coach and I think the Knicks will not make it out of the first round.

I'd love to be wrong, but my stellar record predicting wins and losses this season tells me I'm right.

Leon Rose about to take care of Thibsdale retirement, taking money from scumbag billionaire Dolan to give to regular guy Thibsdale. Leon is a modern day Robin Hood!

I actually agree... not to side on our playoffs opponents, but individually Cade has been better than JB all season

Tobias Harris is coming for revenge

Dude was an absolute disaster last year vs us in the playoffs. 9.0 PPG on 43.1 FG%

Yeah I think people are downplaying what OG will be able to do to him. It's fine though, yet again people are thinking the sky is falling, it's going to be alright.

Agreed. One worry though is if the refs are anointing Cade as the new American superstar as someone posted last Detroit game. If he's allowed to push off with free arm like Tatum, as it seemed last game, and they call quick fouls on OG, then it's trouble.

Anyone who says Cade, CURRENTLY, is better than Brunson needs a lobotomy. You've been anti-Knicks pilled too far lol.

I think Thibs deserves to stay no matter what, but… Damn, Mike Malone sure is tempting.

Thibs can’t feel great about having a tough nosed New Yawkah (with a championship trophy) out there as an obvious replacement.

Don't think it happen, OG is known as a physical defender and wont get a quick whistle. Playoff time a bit more physicality is allowed. I truly believe OG will bottle him up and frustrate him, but what do I know?

Put Jalen on the Pistons and he’d average 35.

I think the knicks matchup really well with the pistons honestly. I know Cade killed them in the regular season but they have several options to throw on Cade. Pistons lack a secondary creator with Ivey out, i think Thibs pressures the hell out of Cade and try and let anyone else beat you.

Our backline defensive rotations have to be absolutely perfect so OG can get back to Cade when the Pistons use off ball screens to force a switch to get Brunson onto Cade.

I'm less worried about this in the playoffs simply because the team has actual time to practice this now.
