It's not a question of whether or not SS is a good NFL QB (he very likely is)

Can you win in the NFL with a good QB? (don't answer bro... rhetorical)

they are certainly evaluating everyone....probably want to see how Daboll ranks they all compared to what Schoen and the FO ranks them all.

That didn't take long. It also sort of proves (again) that Tannenbaum is kind of an idiot

Looks like they are finalizing there QB board...will be interesting if we set one up with Dart...or the rumors of him not getting past the Saints legit. Then its finalizing where we have these guys and rate them so we know who we want to target especially if it will take a trade back up for.

Have concerns about Shedeur at 3 but without a doubt things I’d love. Mentality and being able to handle the spotlight are two things I would not worry about whatsoever. I think the arm strength and athleticism knocks are a bit overblown as well. There’s definitely some ugly moments at Colorado. Their line was terrible but some legitimate question marks there. A year under someone like Russ could be incredibly valuable. Shedeur isn’t the biggest QB (not small) but Russ is someone who would be a great resource to see how he processes, prepares, and puts himself in a position to succeed.

QB is a need that trumps everything in my opinion. If you hypothetically had someone like Carter on your big board at 1 or 2 but Sanders at 10-15… I still think you have to take QB. That’s just me

Hunter, Carter, and Sanders are picks I’ll support and root for. Pipe dream would be Hunter or Carter and trading back for someone like Sanders if he slid

Todd McShay says the book isn't closed on SS at 3 and Abdul Carter had a private workout with New England. He also says that if Giants don't pick Sanders at 3, then he probably makes it to 21 unless someone trades up.

Also says Will Johnson ran a 4.6 40 and probably isn't coming off the board before pick 11.

Tyler Shough - 25 years old and trending upwards apparently. Always seems like there’s one each year. Right now I’ve seen him 2nd round with as early as very early 2nd and some rumors of late first

I stopped watching him when I saw this

He's older (25) because he has had a ton of injuries. But he had a monster season last year. He also has great measurables

6'5 and 220lbs

He also ran a 4.63 40 time so he's a good athlete.

but the down side he's 25...it was like his 7th year in college due to all those injuries so he really only has one good year on tape so you are projecting a more developed QB already. He's broken a fibula and the same collarbone twice...so it would be a huge roll of the dice.

If he wasn't 44 with 2 kids he'd probably be QB2

He might have the highest floor. He throws with anticipation and hits every part of the field. His injury history sucks, but those are all freak things, not like a chronic ACL issue or something.

He's had 1 year of very good tape after being in college for 7, so that is concerning, but I think barely being on the field has a lot to do with that.

Yeah seriously he will be turning 26 by the time the NFL season starts.

The question will be I would feel much better taking a shot at him in round 3...but that doesn't seem realistic...seems like with him and Milroe will will need to have some conviction and use 34 or even trade up to secure them if one of those guys are truly people we are looking it. And for Shough are you really taking that big of a gamble in the late first or early 2nd round for a guy with only one year of tap that was 3+ years older than most of the people he was playing against?

Dart (according to McShay) has been a target of the Saints (even potentially over Sanders) so maybe that is why we aren't even working him out knowing he won't slide.

Drafting a soon to be 26 yr old in sept... QB in the second round is nasty work.

Look. Im a Milroe hater, and I would rather roll the dice on him than that dude cause he can be valuable as RB if all else fails. The other dude Seems like an injury risk. Yeah he got the measurables, but to be this old getting drafted means you hardly played. He put up monster numbers cause he is the age of like a 4th year vet in the NFL. He playing against Dudes who just left HS or are sophomores etc etc.

Giants better not be thinking high rounds with this dude if that the route the gonna go.

Daboll Going to try squint his eyes and see Josh Allen lol.

He is a BIG Milroe guy...

and he's had a fairly strong record in scouting QB's.

Yea, he has Milroe as QB2 and said if he had more information he would have him at 1. Him and Emory Hunt are big for Milroe.

Waldman's scouting puts a premium on processing. Milroe, according to him, is an excellent processor but an inaccurate thrower. Milroe has shown the ability to manipulate defenders while seeing/evading the blitz and not just taking off like Kyler Murray every play. One is fixable, the other is something you either have or don't.

If Shedeur drops in the 19 to 21 range would we have to burn next year's first to trade back in to get him?
