I think if Booker signs the 2 year-$150 million extension as being reported, it is best for the Suns to trade Durant for 3-4 players, rather than switching him out for one player in KAT

My fantasy of the Knicks offering JHart + Mitch + Duece + filler and entire stockpile of picks is over though.

KAT is close to Devin booker. I can’t see Devin Booker wanting to play with anyone other than KAT.

It’s like when lil bitches make subliminal records, if it ain’t directed directly at me, I don’t respect it

If KD and Ant don’t force a trade to Minnesota, I think it’ll be OKC, where he’ll win them their first championship before ending his career there. That would give him some peace of mind and I think that’s the type of guy he is. I’d even root for him then.
Houston, the Clippers and Dallas are other dark horse candidates imo. Imagine Kyrie, KD and AD together, and they can make a competitive offer. The Knicks will not trade KAT, regardless how often very serious persons repeat it here

No way OKC will ever give them that kind of a favor lol. He left OKC to join the most favored team [Golden State] back in 2016.
Now OKC is the best team record-wise. They really going let KD jump on? I seriously doubt that.
They might give Westbrook this kind of favor.

And they have said so, but that cannot stop our most avid KAT-haters.
Dallas could provide Phoenix with all that and pair Irving, AD and Durant. Nico Harris will pursue that. OKC could provide even more and Anthony Edwards has been vocal about his admiration for KD. Minnesota can offer Gobert AND Divo or NAW or McDaniels or even Randle.
All this is clear and still Knicks realgm’s finest make this is about Karl-Anthony Towns (who Rose certainly wouldn’t want to trade for Durant) and they consider themselves serious persons.

This is still a very young team. If they fail this year (and I could see that happening given their youth), you will be looking at a very desperate management.

No need to get desperate. They are a young team and all their players are still on contract.

I don’t think they would need to offer too much and going after KD now makes too much sense. At some point they will have to go all-in, and then KD will also be off their books soon enough again. KD added to their core will be as close to a guaranteed championship as it gets. I’ve said before that I could even see him and Westbrook re-unite there.

It's hard to imagine Leon chases KAT for years.... finally gets him by giving up the last of the Knicks' assets. KAT goes on to have a monster All-NBA season in NY... then Leon trades him 7 months after getting him to bring in a 48 year old free agent on the brink of retirement who could easily walk either way and leave a huge hole in our roster.
Leon would get fired and we'd be LOLKnicks all over again.
Thankfully there's zero sources reporting Leon is interested in doing anything like this.

If the Knicks are out of the running for KD, I wouldn't put it past the Knicks to trade OG for Zion, which actually works straight up

Why do we want to trade og so bad? A dude that gets better every year entering his prime and a lockdown defender. That’s the dude we want to trade???? I know we have suffered a lot as Knicks fans but let’s not try to make it worse.

I'm fine not doing anything and keeping this same starting lineup together for another year or two
I'm also OK with making a move
I'm entertained either way

Re: KD to the Knicks part 2?
Yea I got my money on Dallas. KD goes back to Texas and joins Kyrie forming another big 3. Dallas has the contracts+ players to make it work. Prob something like:
Klay, PJ, Gafford, Hardy, OMP for KD works.
Mavs still got:
Kyrie
Max | Caleb
KD | Naji
AD
Lively | Powell
That’s a contender. Just sign some ring chasers to fill it out
Suns get good depth… could find a 3rd team for Klay if they want.

KAT shooting the lights out while Zion bullies in the paint? I wouldn't mind seeing that

I proposed Zion+Herb for OG+Mitch around the deadline.
Dunno why they’d do it, but at this point I would. Need some interior toughness on offense and Herb at the POA is better than having Mikal stuck there.
Scoop up some vet FA’s like Cp3, Nance, etc. I’m good with that
Jalen | CP3
Mikal | Deuce
Herb | Hart
Zion | Nance
KAT | Huk
