Yeah, he is a good player but just isn't a max player. Other than being a great passer he really doesn't do much else that is great.

That clippers-warriors game was amazing and if you have no playin warriors are just tanking for the rockets. And that's true if the NBA season is 82 or 50 games.

Ratings wise it has been good, and it has been very popular in my opinion.

Pretty situational though because the Rockets are considered vulnerable. In a normal playoff setting the Clippers would be motivated to get to the 5 seed anyway as opposed to a 7 seed because it just means you're playing a worse opponent and have worse odds of having HCA in any round.

And you'd arguably have more intense games earlier in the season without the psychological safety net of the play-in at the end.

Silver has had 2 big season reforms. The cup so far has been a dud IMO but the play-in is good. It makes teams 4-7 play hard.

Hawks forever the average team. They just need to move on from Trae this offseason and get maximum value (Lotto FRP + young prospect, at least) because he will continue being exposed as being a 1B guy at best.

They should remove the playin in the East since traditionally there are only title contenders, 3-4 good but not great teams and the rest of the conference absolute trash. LOL
