Orlando is going to be a tougher series than we think. I think it ends in 5 but the games will be pretty close.

Jonathan Isaac will bother JT with his length and quick feet. The key matchup of the series imho.

The Celtics in 5 but the games should be competitive.

I was hoping for Hawks because I think they could of got away with giving Brown a little more rest.

Maybe they couldn't find a picture of Jrue looking mean.

They are physical team who is very limited on O with or without Suggs.
There will be lost games for Orlando because Banchero will keep shooting over people and wont go to the basket as usual.

Celtics in 5. Could be 6 since we play dumb at times. Magic play tough. banchero and franz are legit ballers.

Only the fourth playoff series between these two franchises. Magic won 3-1 w/ Shaq and co. in the 1st round in 1995. Dwight and co. won in 7 in ECSF in 2009. Celtics got their revenge, won in six games the following year in ECF.

Since Banchero was drafted, Magic are 6-4 against the Celtics in the regular season. BOS has won just once (and has lost four straight) in Orlando during that span.

Celtics have only had 13 games (out of 184) of taking less than 40% of their shots from beyond the arc since start of last season. Three of those games came against the Magic. We lost two of them.

Cs need to answer the question “can you still win when the three-ball is taken away from you?” A finally healthy Porzingis is gonna be the X-factor in this series esp since JB is hobbled. And we need at least one of Hauser/Pritchard to pop. I expect a good series from Kornet who will be used more than we expect in double big lineups.

ESPN pointed out that the Magic (6-4) has the 2nd best win percentage against the Celtics in Mazzulla era (behind OKC). They failed to mention that Tatum didn’t play in 3 of the losses.

This season I've tried to be a respectable european, not staying up until super late so I haven't been watching too many games, but I'm coming back for the playoffs and I'll be watching as much as I can. Let's go Boston, 16 more wins!

Let's get this over with as fast as possible and get some rest.
The repeat starts now.
Good assessment:

Yeah I think we smash them. But they'll play hard.

It's cool to be playing someone different

Orlando's w-l record and most of their stats can be thrown out due to their many injuries. They're not play-in level, but more like in the Knicks/Pacers/healthy Bucks tier.

They're big, physical, and great defensively. Boards are key in this series.

The Celtics are still better.

Orlando just doesn't have the offensive firepower that can compete with the Celtics. I'm expecting this to be a relatively short series. Maybe 5 games.

Last 6 losses of the Celtics to the Magic (all in Mazzulla era):
• no top 6 guys
• no Tatum
• no Holiday
• no Porzingis and Holiday
• no Porzingis, Holiday, and Tatum
• no Porzingis, Holiday, and Pritchard

So basically, the Magic haven't beaten THIS Celtics team yet. But then again, they don't have Suggs and Mo Wagner so this series doesn't really count for all intents and purposes.
