the fact that this isn't a 4 or 5 game series says enough on its own imo. the pistons are not a good team and our roster is MUCH better than theirs. if this goes 6 or 7 thibs needs to be gone no matter what
The Pistons aren't a bad team. They defend, they rebound, they have some youth and size and they have Cade who we've had trouble defending (I'm curious if they'll actually put OG on him. OG's a good defender, but Cade's quicker, so I don't know.
The Pistons went 30-20 after their 14-18 start, so I think they are actually a pretty good team. The Knicks have a ton of firepower though. Detroit's good, but I think we're better.
I also disagree with you on Thibs if this goes to 6 or 7. THere will be articles, but assuming they make it to Boston, that's the series where management will judge him. This series, he just has to win it and all the attention will be on NY vs Boston.
