No horse in this race but some of these offers in attempt to get freaking Giannis are Nico Harrison level awful. :lol:

As always, contracts are not being discussed enough. People talk about "Giannis" as if he's just that, but it's "Giannis with 2 more years left and then a player option in year 3 that he can decline and leave". You get 2 years of 31 and 32 year old Giannis - the reality is a lot of teams are not going to give up good cost controlled assets for that. Jalen Williams with 5 or 6 years left (1 of which is rookie scale) is more valuable than 2 years of Giannis. Some people then think this is a diss on Giannis, but it's not; he's the 3rd best player right now. I would expect something like the Paul George Indy trade when they got Sabonis + Oladipo.
