Yeah but why do you rest guys when you have a young team and you're going to get a week off anyway? There's such a thing as too much time off. I would rather have them finish strong, at peak performance, and on a streak. It's not a streak when you lose your final three and your best players haven't played competitively for fourteen days.

I see nothing easy for Warriors. I read some smart minds from posters not related to GSW or HOU. They have a point. How we played last two games I dont see good ending for Warriors. Rebounding and role players are the biggest issues for this team. Houston has planty bodies to defend our leaders. Whole team must oppose intesity against more athletic HOU youngters and this will effect our 3P shooting which is avg at best. Yes we have the best players, but w/o them no one cann't creat own shot against good defences. We will live with role players 3P shooting...Idoka is smart guy and has good tools to lock our motion offence. We lost both the most important games in RS to them (Cup and the last RS games) and we scored +100pts only once in last 4 games.

We did win the season series 3-2. Kuminga averaged 21ppg against the Rockets this season. Would seem a bit head scratching for Kuminga to get zero run considering he did play well against the Rockets. Kuminga and Butler may not fit well together in being a bit redundant skill wise, kinda like Booker and Beal. But I do think its a good idea playing Kuminga in the minutes without Butler on the floor for athleticism, having a downhill threat, and preventing the Rockets from throwing everything at Curry when Butler is resting.

All the talking heads are saying GSW lucked into a HOU matchup. I’d much rather they play LAL. LAL without AD is no longer a bad matchup.

Wouldn't we have most likely gotten LAL, LAC, OKC? Our current route HOU. LAL, OKC seems better.

We lost the cup game to some bs loose ball foul 90 feet away from the hoop. The last one we were exhausted and had no energy after a 14 day road trip and it being our 3rd game in 4 nights. Before those 2 losses we hadn't lost to Houston in like 4 years.

It really feels like Butler is trying to hammer home a point.

IDK if I'd say "much" rather, but I kind of agree with that. Lakers are not the same threat they have been. However, with LeBron and Luka on the team, and it being the Lakers, the way the series is reffed is a real concern. Only speculation, but I feel like the league wants to get LeBron 1 more chip more than they would like to see Steph get 1 more chip. And now with Luka there, they want to showcase him as the future face of the Lakers.

Houston isn't the worst matchup for us, but it's not a great one either, as we saw in the last game. I'm saying Dubs in 6 but it's not going to shock me if Houston wins.

Moody needs to attack Sengun if that's who they're putting on him.

It's been that way for as long as I can remember. Someone that talented didn't need the league to bend over backwards, but here we are.

The league wants LA at the top of their headliners, so I agree.

I do wonder what our counter to that will be. Moody probably has to screen more

FWIW it seems to me he's setting a lot more screens and in way more actions the past few weeks.

Yea it seems like teams are trying to hide their weakest defenders on him so he's having to screen more to get his guy to switch.

Game 1 sets the tone, we win it and we control the series.
