So? I love Giddey but if he has the ball a majority of the game I don't see how you really compete against teams that have top 10 players. Once the Bulls get a top 10 player, if they ever do, then Giddey is going to be off the ball in critical moments.

Well let’s worry about that when/if it happens.

Or when they have to move him but nobody will take on the 35mm contract bc of the above.

I proposed that Cody might not realistically be here next year. I got bunches of pushback. Not saying one game changes anything? but interesting to see so many now pondering that

I think it's a choice between Giddey and Cody. I side with Giddey.

The list of bodies that will almost FOR SURE be back next year is properly long. If we want to transition from our current middle of the pack morass we have to change things up. It is unlikely that our middling pick is going to do that. Changes are needed.

We lack talent a lot.

The bench is awful

Need wholesale changes. I'd only keep Giddey for the right price. Vuc better not be here next season.

I'm surprised you actually watched the game

He had to have given up at least that same stat line on defense....

He wasn't even putting a hand up half the time.

As a side note, I've dogged Wiggins for his entire NBA career, but he kicked our ass tonight. I wish that we had a wing who defended like that.

The Bulls will move into the top 4. The league will reward us. 2nd best record in the east since all-star.

I don’t care if it makes us worse I never want to see Vuc play for this team again. Possibly the worst defender in Bulls history.

Coby is completely useless if he isn’t scoring at an elite level…bye.

Some people were waiting for him stink it up to complain, but it didn’t happen. He didn’t have a great game, but it was far from bad enough to be questioning him. And as you said we have no one idea how injured his arm is. 25/10/4 in an off game. Ship the bum off. /s

Same here man. We'll to be fair, I suggested he SHOULDN'T be here. I think trading him would be smart. However we have AKME. They aren't smart. I expect the Bulls to run it back. Wouldn't he shocked if they traded picks to try and improve.

Bad defense and we played like we didnt get prepared, waaaay too much of ISO drives to the rim.. or maybe they got cocky after 3-0 in regular season!

I want changes, not much, but new coach and 3-4 changes on roster.. but I dont trust AKME with anything to be honest?! New front office guys? Yes,please

We need to add defense to team urgently and more twoway players! We have to many oneway unicorns like White, who must be on the market to see what we can fetch.. he can also stay, but not as starting player alongside Giddey, 6th man role, 18M max 3yr deal if he signs extension after next season..

New coach, someone replacing AKME, White, Williams, Vucevic traded would be solid start.. but first we need some draft lottery luck

Giddey can be a key building block, but not on a max contract.

We have a whole off season now to analyze all this but I think best case scenario would be to keep Giddey/Coby/ Matas and someway somehow add a star. That would be a legit team.

I do agree though if Giddey gets max or anything close it would hurt their chances to build a better team. Let’s hope the Nets back off this offseason so he doesn’t get overpaid by the bulls

Are we gonna wish for a star or?

Pretty much lol.

He never lived up to his draft spot, but he's been a solid player through much of his career. The problem is at #1 you're hoping to get a star.

They should. Drop Utah to 10th pick who were openly tanking. The NBA should have made an example out of them and taken the pick away from them.

Reward us? We already have 3 franchise players, remember?

Bulls ownership and front office just don't care about success. Mediocrity is what they love.

When and how are we getting this mythical top 10 player that push Giddey to the corner again? What if that top 10 player is in the mold of Curry or big like prime Davis. Every top 10 player isn’t ball dominant.

Let’s say we get lucky and Buzelis becomes that. I don’t think he would ever be lead facilitator.
