i think tyreke evans is an underrated comp for Harper - but if Tyreke had built on his rookie season rather than regressing every year. Both tall lead guards who could really get to the basket, but weren't great shooters or facilitators. Big scoring PGs who could get to the basket. I mean, Tyreke averaged 20, 5 and 6 as a rookie. If Harper does that, everybody will be elated with his rookie season.

Yeah, and Tyreke did that without any outside shot. Quite remarkable, really. Assuming no injuries, Evans would've been a poor man's Harden if he had James' three-point shot. Something like in those early Houston years from 2012-13 to 2014-15 when McHale was the coach. A 25 ppg, 5 rpg, 5-7 apg type of guy. Maybe not quite as high TS% due to fewer free throws.

Harper isnt as quick as a 35 y/o Harden..

Does he necessarily need to be a blow-by guy? How does he compare in that department to Brunson? Jalen uses his stocky frame and elite footwork to back guys down and pivot into the paint. Same with Luka, Randle, and LeBron. Dylan has a strong body, for sure.

I definitely buy the Tyreke Evans comparisons to Dylan Harper. Tyreke had that funky release though that inhibited him somewhat in his shooting. Harper's form is a lot cleaner so I have hope he can at least be an average NBA shooter from 3 which would unleash his ability to get 'downhill' where he's big, strong and crafty enough to have a lot of success.

Offensively, as a #1 option, I have more confidence in his ability than I do Flagg who probably tops out as a #2 option in the best situation for him. Obviously Flagg's all-around game is why he's the consensus #1 pick but whoever gets the #2 pick is winning the lottery as well.

yup. Harper definitely has more upside as a shooter than Evans and honestly that should be the difference in his career trajectory going upward rather than downward.

My ceiling for Dylan would be Brandon Roy.

Georges Niang with some more wiggle. Low ceiling but highly likely to be a rotation level shooter. Think he is being under-valued in mocks as I see him in the middle to late 40's alot. Think MIN at 31 would be a great fit.

Well he’s not as good as Duncan Robinson and never will be. Duncan is more athletic and a lot shiftier. Karaban is also nowhere near the shooter he is. So if you want a worse Duncan Robinson…idk

Xavian Lee and Lendeborg both signed big NIL deals with Florida and Michigan. I would expect that they withdraw from draft otherwise they are screwing over those schools pretty big. JPJ also officially transferred, not 100% sure on anyone else.

maybe to you. There are actual big men throughout that league he has to go up against. Guys with NBA size. The fact that he is his size and able to put the ball on the floor, has a variety of moves around the basket and is an elite passer sets him apart from other prospects. He also replicated this production at the U19 against future pros.

I haven't done a deep dive yet, but I see a great off ball shooter who makes good decisions and can apply ball pressure on defense.

I don't think he'll ever be an all star, but could realistically end being a Herro, VanVleet, or Coby White type contributor.

I like Jace better than a lot of players. He's not ball dominant dribbling the air out of the ball...
