Yeah that recovery seems insane. But obviously if he's playing they have 100% confidence there's no danger.

Really feels like Dame is going to be able to play. Sweet.

In the boy who cried wolf, the boy lied twice before the wolf arrived. In this case, playoff revenue was eaten into.

This is almost as shocking as the Doncic trade, because a few days ago they shifted to say 40% of the clot still existed.

Take your time, because we have a better shot at beating Indy w/out him. But we'd need him for Cleveland who can bottle up Giannis.

Healthy Bucks with KPJ as a wild card (hopefully starting) are capable to beat anyone in the NBA in a 7 game series

I actually am fairly confident we could get past Indiana without Dame, but if we can get him back up to speed before a potential matchup with Cleveland I think we might have a shot to get to the ECF

With Dame & Sims both back for the playoffs, Are we finally going to get a healthy Bucks playoff run?

This is the playoffs.. using "better shot" is wild but I agree with your overall premise that if we can beat the Pacers without him then don't rush.

Who gets bumped out of the closing lineup when Dame comes back: KPJ, Trent or Green? Green would be my guess.

I'd agree. Him or Trent but we've seen a lot of feistiness in this run from Trent so he may be in a playoff mode as well and Doc will probably trust the vet. Other big question is do we let Giannis run the point more still. We probably should.

I'd guess the non-hot hand. Doc has been decent lately at going with the hot hand.

The schedule could not be better for a Dame ramp up. I dont know how long thats supposed to take but Sat, Tues, Fri is a remarkable way to start it.

Bucks absolutely have to win at least one at Indy without Dame. Dame returning at game 3 while being down 2-0 is just too much pressure for the Bucks and probably a big time opportunity for Indy.

Yeah I don’t think anything should really change with Giannis at least I hope not. Turning Dame into a super charged AJ Green to close out sounds like a dream come true. Have him playing off ball and getting to his spots and let Giannis and KPJ (to a lesser extent) do what they do.

This is also great news for the rotation and really intriguing what Doc does once Dame comes back.

Consider the below minutes are rough estimates but pretty fixed.

PG Minutes Dame 30 / KPJ 18

PF/C Giannis 40/ Brook 27 / Bobby 27

This leaves 96 minutes between AJ/Rollins/GTJ/KPJ(off ball)/Prince/Kuz.

Might not even see Kuz after game 1.

Games 1 and 2 become that much more important. Team needs to band together and buy Dame time (pun much intended).

Can't wait for these playoffs. We need a healthy Bucks run again, whether we go far or not.

It feels like things are coming together for the Bucks to make a run. I'm big on perspective. When it was feared Giannis was cooked during the Atlanta series, only for the scans to come back negative, I thought that meant he'd go Super Saiyan mode & the Bucks win the title.

This year, we had Giannis not being available in the prior 2 seasons, giving him perspective to go ham. Now Dame had to fear he'd be done for the season, only for the shocking news he's expected back at least by the time the Bucks reach the contenders.

Then there are events that happened for other notable guys that give them perspective. KPJ was out of the NBA a year ago. Bobby had 3 major events this season that could provide perspective. Provided things don't turn a turn for the worse, the Bucks have great vibes going into the playoffs.

That would be stupid AF. The Dame-Trent backcourt has proven to not work defensively & overall has inferior nets to Dame-Green.

Lillard-Trent is -2.8. Lillard Green is +5.6. The difference in pts allowed per 100 is almost 10.
