Wow this is remarkable. Happy to hear this news

Happy for him.

But the reason we never saw it before is most likely cause they gave him something only a millionaire could obtain.

Damn MP, sorry about your kings misfortune. Rough couple days for our boy. Get killed in the play-in and then hire Perry. Devastating.

Even though he was a bit of a mixed bag for us, I think he’ll help the kings

Perry was one of the people in the FO who advised against trading for Donovan Mitchell. Which you and I agree was a debacle.

He also - along with Mills - hired Fizdale, drafted Knox, drafted RJ over Garland, and moved KP only to fail to sign Durant in free agency.

He did sign Randle and he did draft Mitch with a second round pick, but he was overall incompetent and there's little doubt in my mind the Knicks were headed towards the abyss with him steering the ship.

I just hope the Knicks can fleece the Kings in some future trade now.

No, I don’t need to explain anything because I don’t propose any nuthead trades out of spite. And don’t pull the playoff performer card. You know why and you know who… Everything has long been said. But it certainly was not hard to see that one coming  why do you do that to yourself? Towns >>> Sabonis >>> Randle has not changed. Easy money.

I don't disagree with the minutia here but he wasn't incompetent in management of finances and draft capital. That is, despite his shortcomings as a talent scout he actually left this franchise in substantially better shape than he found it, and I give NONE of that to Mills. It took better talent evaluators but from the position he left us, the path to becoming a perennial playoff team was fairly smooth.

Just a cooler head would do the Kings a lot of good. They're a train wreck.

You’re literally the only Sabonis fan on this board  you need to take a look in the mirror. Your taste in ball players are the worst.

The burden we carry.

Looks like you and I have to be the voice of reason around here, like always. Perry was absolutely horrible here and will keep the kings "mid". It's wild that he got another high profile job. Feel terrible for mp and king fans. Years about to be wasted.

I actually think Randle impacts wins more than Sabonis. Randle did lead the Knicks to aa 4th seed as the best player.

Return to New York Knicks
