Knicks in, uh, 5 would be my go to here.

Playing in Detroit is no easy feat, I'm gonna guess Pistons will get game 3 and NY will move on from there.

JB is a great regular season coach but I haven't seen anything from him come postseason time to make me believe he can guide a less talented team to an underdog series win.

The Pistons will fight to the death though, one of the three most physical teams in the league along with Orlando and Houston.

Love this Pistons team, but it's Knicks in 6

Knicks played like they were sedated in a number of recent games. Especially late in games. If we do that, the Pistons roll us over. If they flip a playoff switch and Brunson is looking healthy again we should take care of business pretty quickly.

No sleeping on this group though. They've got enough talent and fight to capitalize if the Knicks aren't fully focused.

FWIW, at the deadline we added a 2nd guy that can dribble the ball, which was an obvious need. Up to that point we only had Cade capable of doing that. Schröder have been great for us.

I understand our veterans don't have a good track record in the playoffs and our young guys are unproven but look at that graphic, and look at the matchup.

We are everything the Knicks struggle against, and we have proven that this season. It's going to be a dog fight. The Knicks are likely going to win, but in no world this should be a sweep on paper, on paper they should lose, because Detroit have been the better TEAM.

Again, no issue calling Knicks as the series winners here, but to pretend the Pistons are some junk team or something is preposterous. They are just young as hell.

Their defense is absolutely legit.

Brunson is a big game player, and he will get his in the series, Hart has shown also to be the type of guy to elevate his game when it matters.
My bet is that at the end of the series, KAT stats will determine the result, he's the main mismatch, he can make Duren look really bad on defense and force long Stewart minutes, and he can be adequate at the 4 to handle Tobias Harris and allow for 2 big lineups, but he has tendency to disappear in the post season, if KAT doesn't show up, then Pistons have a very real shot at this, despite this being experienced and talented team Vs less talented and inexperienced one.

He tried, he couldn't and if OG guards Cade, Tobias will post up whoever is guarding him. We're a bad matchup for the Knicks.
